I've tried to remove as many "personal attack" posts as possible. Keep this thread clean, thanks!
I think there is no reason it to not work.So unofficial memory cards dumps seems to work?I tested F-Zero GX again (Devolution r128) now with a dump image of my unofficial memory card used as an emulated memory card, seems like my savegame loaded fine (no prompt to erase corrupted save file or format memory card), of course, after loading the game locks up.
I think the same as you, I think his wii is more raped than a whore. Why would I include a patch for a non-working game? It works and has been confirmed working by more people than the amount claiming it doesn't work. Frankly I'm pissed off that I spent $20 getting a copy shipped from the US to test with only to find that it works perfectly fine:r128 is now up.
- fix audio streams not playing when a stream is queued immediately after the current stream is cancelled
- audio fix for XGIII
- fix wifi logging for networks which are slow to initialize
afaiac wiismodrome can suck it, his log from r115 is completely messed up (filesize is wrong, cluster chain for the .iso file is all sorts of messed up) and the SD log in the same post that is supposedly from r124 is bullshit - wifi logging didn't work in that build. On top of that he's got a misbehaving hard drive (despite it being the same model as my own), has a history of messing around installing/uninstalling various modchips (despite claiming his wii is "unmodified"), and has reported other games as non-working when in fact it was an isolated problem with his setup (log shows cars.iso being only 1319108608 bytes, he later re-added the wiki entry as working after I removed it based on this).
What are these BCA files and what are DVV files I read about? And what about the rumours about file system corruption?
My wii reader is in perfect condition..."drive related"......dirty Wii.....tainted dump.........discex.........star patch.
I know and it is not my intention frustrate him but I can not deny the problem if it is there. Then you have a developer who gets frustrated with all the inconsistencies
Better than that, I send it to tueidjI hope someone will send me this game!Anyone care to ship me XGIII USA?
Baseless, without evidence, without interes, and nothing. The file system corruption rumours were all baseless, as far as I know. The last time it was mentioned was weeks ago, was it not?
It loads GameCube games from USB or SD without changing to GameCube mode.have not been around in awhile what does this do
Hopefully, VBA GX will implement the other end of this emulation, too. It'd be kinda cool to have a neighbor bring his Wii over for a four swords LAN party.I'm most looking forward to the GC/GBA link being emulated. Though I imagine that will take quite a lot more work. Haven't played FF Chrystal Chronicles in years because I (stupidly) traded in my GBA SPs for DS when they first came out.
So if I understand correctly, GBA connectivity should be pretty easy when you're done with keyboard support? AwesomeIt's currently a bit further down the line, but it shouldn't be very difficult once I actually get to the stage of working on it. This is how things tie together:
- memory card emulation (done): uses generic EXI device emulation (added)
- wifi logging (done): uses backend network support (added)
- modem emulation (done): uses EXI device emulation + network support
- keyboard emulation (in progress): uses SI device emulation + USB backend
- GBA (todo): uses SI device emulation + network support
- microphone (todo): uses EXI device emulation + USB backend
- wiimote: uses SI device emulation + bluetooth + USB1 + various other crap like NAND access
