To confirm this, I'd like to say one thing. First, the NAND dumps have been around for a while, which connect to the main firmware. According to the main MD5 hash/ARM9 hash and decryption I could verify that this is indeed 3DS firmware judging by the writing being in plain text, such as something on a debugger of fluff RAM dumper. I would say more, but I don't think Nintendo would be to happy if I posted specifics from their Panda test unit. Sorry, for more info though you are free to PM me and I will answer you with some of my findings.

This is exciting progress and one step closer to playing my region locked imported games. Sadly my test unit does not run retail games besides DS games, so it's mostly their for specific reasons QwQ

(To answer an age old question)
The Homebrew Channel
Greets

This is known as a header edit. "The Homebrew Channel" is listed as GAME_TITLE or TITLE on some devices, "Greets" would be PUBLISHER. Header edits can be done on instruction manuals or game title and publisher headers. (This can be done by modifying byte or hex values in the RAM, though this would connect to the fully booted NAND)

Also, the dump is probably from a European 3DS from what I can see so far.

I want to believe you, but I find it hard to believe a 14 year old would have a 3DS development unit, not saying it's not possible, just very unlikely :)

Oh no, it's not mine. My friend let me use it once, all he has is the Panda unit, not the CTR debugger or partner debugger by KMC. The one he has I think is a NTSC-U (NA) one. From what I saw of it you were able to play a demo of Super Mario, which I think is the E3 2011 tech demo of SM3DL. I also got to get 300 play coins, it was cool though to try, but it does not seem to play any retail games from what I tried.

But yeah, it is unlikely cause an eBay sale is like $1200 and you have to be a licensed/trusted dev to get it for $365, so luckily somebody I know got it from eBay and let me use it because I was interested.

EDIT: Also, thanks for not being one of the people who scream FAKE! or TROLL! whenever someone posts something like I did, like I said if you need any clarification I would always be able to tell you, I respect you for being correct and being honest that it is unlikely. If I use the dev unit again I will do an in-depth video.

No problem dude. I wish I had a friend with any dev kits at all, I can't wait until I'll be able to afford them.
