MODS lock this thread please
WAijt not yet. Let me edit this post on how to make it work on your pc with motionjoy!
EDIT: Okey. Now this hopefully will most likely fix it. I cant confirm that it will work on Maplestory but i can guarantee that it will work on Vindictus and seeing how nexon publish Maplestory on both EU and US and that making the controller work on both vindictus EU and US require the same very same steps it would most likely work.
First you need:
• Motionjoy
• 360-USB Cable(Unsure if wireless will work but you can try)
•
Drivers
First you want install the drivers required for the controller using the link i gave and then start up DS3Tool(motionjoy) and plug in ur controller. The next step is to check if it is working or not. Usual steps is Game Controller Panel and then Properties and press random buttons watching the red dots glow. Now remeber to hit Options next to Xbox 360 Controller Emulator and change the upper drop down box into Xbox 360 controller and then hit save changes. The last steps inside motionjoy(Not sure if nessecary or not) is to hit driver manager(for wired people) and install the driver for the controll you plugged in. For wireless hit bluetooth pair and good luck on your own.
Now that its confirmed working you want to do something called “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement”. Keep in mind that i have no idea what the side effects are in doing so and i have had it turned off for over a year now with no problems.
The steps to turn it off (On W7 atleast) is to find
gpedit.msc simply by starting run and copy paste that. Or you could search for it after pressing the windows button.
After starting it up you want to expand ‘Administrative Templates’ (it’s under ‘User Configuration’). Expand ‘System’. Click ‘Driver Installation’.
In the right panel, double click on ‘Code Signing for Device Drivers’. Choose ‘Enabled’ in the window that appears. In the underlying options, choose ‘Ignore’.
After that do a simple computer restart. After that you can simply turn on motionjoy, press Xbox 360 Controller Emulator and hit enable. That should make it work.
It took so long to edit because i actually wrote another tutorial before this one but seeing how i failed hard i rewrote it....
EDIT2: Another thing. If you dont want to use motion joy, but you got your controller working, but not working in-game. Then its most likely because you need to “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement”. So if you intend to use another program for the controller just follow the “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” part.
