Maplestory does indeed have a joystick option, unless they removed it. In any case, it would need to be disabled.

What version of Xpadder and Windows are you using? I myself am using Xpadder 5.3, latest version I could find before it went to a paid-only app, and Windows 7 x64 with the program set to compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3 x64, and it works flawlessly.

Again, can you post a screenshot of your Xpadder config, like I posted? I'd just like to double check, because as long as it's compatible with your OS and your controller is functioning, it works no problem.

Writing you off as a troll until you post a screenshot.

I'm more than willing to help you, and I ask for one simple thing, maybe a little bit of information about Xpadder version and OS just so I know what I am working with, but you dodge it every single time I ask.

So like I said. Post a pic of your Xpadder window, tell me your version of Xpadder, OS, if you have compatibility mode set for Xpadder (and to what). You don't even need to post any sensitive information - focus your Xpadder window, alt+print screen, paste it into paint, upload it to imgur/imgshack/photobucket/whatever and post it. Until then I'm done.

When someone is trying to do you a favor out of their own good will and they ask for something, you usually do what they ask even if you've gone through the process on your own. Just so the person who's helping you can know that you're both on the same page. (And the reason for this is exactly why you opened this topic in the first place. I've had Xpadder working over various operating systems and Xpadder revisions since I first started using the program, in every single game I've tried. I've used it in WoW, Maplestory, Minecraft, Doom 3, Doom 2, Doom, Half Life 1/2/Source and more than I can think of without ever running into a problem.)

When you don't give the information requested after 4 (if not 5) times of me asking, it looks like you're too good to need my help, and it suddenly becomes apparent that I have more important things to do than write the same post over and over.

you were not clear in the beginning all you kept asking for was a screen shot since this thread was a fail I'll ask again tomorrow

For the record, as I was reading the thread before when Plasma Dragon asked for a screen shot, I felt as though it was rude for you to blatantly ignore him. His question was simple, the process taking less than five minutes to capture the image, upload and link it here, yet you did not give any mention of even a quote to him saying you were in the process of getting said screen shot.

I have a moderate bit of experience with Xpadder and the coding of the different commands you can create for certain buttons on the controller. It is much easier to create a template for games, such as the ones that can be created through Xpadder, than relying on an option through the settings, as far as I've seen with a few games joypad set-up.

The OP is obviously lacking in the common sense and acceptable behavior departments.. After reading all of his posts in this thread, and some of his posts in other various threads, I've came to the conclusion that it would be a waste of time to continue trying to offer help to him. I don't see why anyone would want to use a gamepad in Maplestory in the first place, as it requires quite a bit of mouse usage, and you'll have to be pretty fast with it.

There aren't a whole lot of seriously worth while games that lack gamepad support and work great with a program like xpadder.. I'd only use a controller for stuff like emulators, and games that have usage of the 360 controller and a proper interface for it built in. Also, avoid using controllers on games of the FPS genre, and RTS.. There isn't much of a point in trying to use a controller to be comfortable, or because you're use to consoles when it's just going to ruin your ability to play the game, and result in you dying over a thousand times.

The only game I can think of where using a 360 controller with xpadder and it actually feeling natural and didn't impair the gameplay at all would be Oblivion.

WAijt not yet. Let me edit this post on how to make it work on your pc with motionjoy!

EDIT: Okey. Now this hopefully will most likely fix it. I cant confirm that it will work on Maplestory but i can guarantee that it will work on Vindictus and seeing how nexon publish Maplestory on both EU and US and that making the controller work on both vindictus EU and US require the same very same steps it would most likely work.

First you need:
• Motionjoy
• 360-USB Cable(Unsure if wireless will work but you can try)
Drivers

First you want install the drivers required for the controller using the link i gave and then start up DS3Tool(motionjoy) and plug in ur controller. The next step is to check if it is working or not. Usual steps is Game Controller Panel and then Properties and press random buttons watching the red dots glow. Now remeber to hit Options next to Xbox 360 Controller Emulator and change the upper drop down box into Xbox 360 controller and then hit save changes. The last steps inside motionjoy(Not sure if nessecary or not) is to hit driver manager(for wired people) and install the driver for the controll you plugged in. For wireless hit bluetooth pair and good luck on your own.
Now that its confirmed working you want to do something called “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement”. Keep in mind that i have no idea what the side effects are in doing so and i have had it turned off for over a year now with no problems.
The steps to turn it off (On W7 atleast) is to find gpedit.msc simply by starting run and copy paste that. Or you could search for it after pressing the windows button.
After starting it up you want to expand ‘Administrative Templates’ (it’s under ‘User Configuration’). Expand ‘System’. Click ‘Driver Installation’.
In the right panel, double click on ‘Code Signing for Device Drivers’. Choose ‘Enabled’ in the window that appears. In the underlying options, choose ‘Ignore’.
After that do a simple computer restart. After that you can simply turn on motionjoy, press Xbox 360 Controller Emulator and hit enable. That should make it work.

It took so long to edit because i actually wrote another tutorial before this one but seeing how i failed hard i rewrote it....

EDIT2: Another thing. If you dont want to use motion joy, but you got your controller working, but not working in-game. Then its most likely because you need to “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement”. So if you intend to use another program for the controller just follow the “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” part.

Report your own post if u want it locked. And glad that u got it working. You want however to use those softwares to remap your controller to your fittings. Thats why you clearly want to use them if they give u bad configuration options.

I recently got my Classic Controller Pro working as an emulated Xbox 360 controller on my PC, I had to add some files to the games' directories though. x360ce.ini and vibmod.ini. I dunno if these pertain to original xbox 360 controllers but it's worth a shot to look it up
