teams normally update there newer cards first to make people buy the newer one
they normally update the older one after a while
So for us with the Acekard2i, we just have to wait for the Acekard team to update the firmware again? My 3DS won't let me access the eShop until I update. =/

thats the idea of the updates, to stop people from accessing the e-shop if they want to pirate
I'm sick of waiting for the EZ Flash Vi to update, as they're being lazy as hell, so I'm going to buy the R4i Gold instead. Going through the official site r4ids.cn, I've kind of site hopped since most of their North American distributors have sold out. I'm currently looking at this one:

Does this fit the criteria for my 3DS? I'm running 4.2.0-9 U right now, as I'm deathly afraid of updating it. I know that there are a lot of fakes out there, so is this a legit retailer? Furthermore, do I need a ds phat/lite to update or is there a different way of doing so?
I can almost feel the majority of you guys shaking your heads in shame. I apologise; I'm a n00b to the r4 and ds homebrew scene. Apologies in advance

well the chance of getting the card updated already is slim from there
also its a 10 order minimum LOL
id buy from zhuzhuchina as they update all the firmware on the cards normally before they ship them

Found out [via Changedetection website] that on 25th July the DSTwo website had updated their firmware,
yet however this morning [28th July] - despite doing my 'Brain training' everyday - I've only just got my 3DS saying there's an update waiting....
Usually it's the other way round... 3DS tells me of the update then within a week the Supercard team finds a 'fix' for it...
Have the Supercard team got a time machine or something ??
