I'm afraid that would be too much; that means I'd essentially have eight versions (four for HG, four for SS) and that's way too much effort to maintain. I do understand the purist viewpoint, but think of it this way; it's not actually that different! It just means the E4 challenge is cut out and moved; the way I intend to do it means it'll basically be the same as before. Instead of Eight Badges -> E4 -> Eight Badges, it'll be Eight Badges -> Eight Badges -> E4. Plus, the E4 has a more epic feeling that late, imo.

I understand your point of view, but something got in my mind after I thought about it. How do you plan to implement the actual travel of the character to Kanto? Because, for example, in the current version it's like in the original game, you go through Routes 26 and 27, then Victory Road, and when you beat the Elite Four you go to Vermilion by S.S. Aqua. If you make the character go to Kanto via Victory Road, I think the S.S. Aqua loses its point, and if you make him go via S.S. Aqua, then there's nothing to do in Routes 26 and 27 aside from that Tohjo Falls sidequest you introduced. Also, depending on what you choose to do, you'd have to again modify the order of the gyms in Kanto, so that you go in a similar way you do in FRLG, although it wouldn't be very difficult probably.

An idea you could do which would probably take less effort and achieve the same effect is to force the player to beat the Elite Four rematch to unlock Mt. Silver and all the other events which are normally unlocked after obtaining 16 badges. Right now there isn't much point in the E4 rematch (other than a challenge), and if you make it so that the player needs 16 badges to fight the E4 for the first time, even less so (unless you remove the rematch, but that wouldn't be nice! :D ). I think fighting the E4 twice for storyline purposes would be much cooler.

Also, is it possible to add trainers to the Victory Road? That would make it much better!

Thanks for the answer, i didnt mean the blisseys stuff really lol, what i meant to ask is if id still have to spend hours beating wild pokemon in victory road to go for elite 4 guys, reading what you told me itd seem that wont be the case, so, nice :)

There will be for the Gym Leaders, Elite Four and whatnot, not for generic trainers though. If you mean the generic trainer one, that was only there for BBVW because I was trying to make sure everything could be seen in the PokéDex, I think, but it's a bit annoying to do. Kind of. But yeah, important trainers yes, generic no.

You're probably going to hate what I've done then, haha. I'm trying to make the TMs kind of like BW so I shifted the elemental moves a lot later and the Game Corner no longer sells TMs. Limiting people to one given TM (albeit with 999 uses) means things have to be cut!

Goldenrod Mart will probably annoy you more, though. BW style high TM prices and that.

So, I was thinking, could you do like what you did in BB/VW --> making some trainers from after the E4 or even after the Kanto Leaders as Manga Trainers counterparts (like Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, and whatso) ?

And I think I will stop playing this until you move to V2.0 :D I will gonna enjoy the BlazeBlack now

I'm getting an issue where the game crashes after Mew disappears in Viridian Forest, is that a known bug, or is it just my game?

Also thanks for the mod I love it : )

Well, the initial idea I had was that you'd do everything normally UNTIL you're just before Victory Road, at which time you instead exit east out of the gatehouse to Viridian, and then make your way to Pewter and resume the path you took in the initial versions. It is true that it makes the SS Aqua totally pointless, was thinking it'd become more of a postgame area that way instead.

Forcing the rematch is certainly possible... it's not a bad idea actually. Though I worry people might complain a tad. D= I might be wrong though! The rematch would have been kept if I did do the Kanto-first idea, but it'd probably just be unlocked immediately. That said, there wouldn't be all that much room for a level increase. :/ You do present a good point, I gotta admit.

I can't add new trainers that actually work properly (as in the sight, exclamation mark, attack you, say something after being defeated etc) but there's nothing stopping me from rearranging trainers! I was already thinking of doing this so I probably will; I'll have to steal some trainers from Kanto. The only small annoyance is that I won't be able to have Victory Road at very high levels since I'd have to set it to be appropriate for the first time you go through, which is a bit of a shame really.

Tough decisions... I dunno, it's a question of making Victory Road a proper challenge or not, although it's a bit small anyway really. Not particularly pleasant to work with. :/ IDK, let me know what you think.

Do you think you could give Earthquake to Rapidash in the next update?

I can't say it's particularly high priority, but I'll see about it, I guess. I'm surprised there was much response to the manga trainers though.

Man Dray, with all these requests and changes I think your going to be too tired to start hacking B/W2 for quite a while.. :P

SalLo - Could you be more specific with your problem?

Sylar - Well, an eight badge Victory Road would probably have the wild Pokémon about... I'd say early to mid 40s, and the trainers would be late 40s or early 50s. Sixteen badges would have wild Pokemon about low to mid 60s, with trainers reaching high 60s or low 70s. Total guesstimates but I think it'd be around there, so a gap of about 20 levels.

First round E4 are probably going to have levels ranging from about 54 to 60 (this may change). Second round I'm thinking either 72 to 78 or 77 to 83, depends how much I can stretch it. I am indeed copying B2W2's levels there. IDK for sure what they'll be yet.

Drayano, I haven't played very far yet, so sorry if this has already been implemented.

Would it be possibly to make Sinnoh gym leaders battleable at some points? That would be really great!

when i load in edge ds card i get the info needed, name and gender and the documentation info. when i shrink both screens get dark and nothing happens. anyone knows how to fix it? it happens on both versions

Wonderful hack, I can really say that although I haven't started playing it yet (I was a huge fan of HG/SS and I almost managed to finish that hacks)! Congrats, Drayano!

Only a few questions:
-Is GB Sounds item given right at the start of the game like in HG/SS? It was great to play HG/SS (and it would be great also for SG/SS) with the old GBC musics...
-After catching Arceus (I was not able to understand that from documentation) can you leave the ruins and try your new legendary pokemon in battles or are you locked forever there? Will this be fixed in V2.0?
-Which is the best emulator to play this hack without being slow or having major ROM crashes?

That would be a great feature (maybe with special scripts) I'd really like to see in V2.0.

I'll start playing from V2.0, too.
