Sure thing, just about to put the kids to bed and will test it shortly.

Edit: Yeah, the wife is putting the kids to bed...

If I click the lists icon it first shows nand and then if I click it again it it shows the WiiFlow loading screen and then exits to the System Menu. If I run WiIFlow from the HBC and do the same thing it exits to thc HBC.

So I can't test the emulator/plugins which started the code dumps before.

I ran through a number of games and couldn't get a code dump.

I first ran COD Black Ops and it ran but while the loading screen was on I got some scratchy noise and not a clean cut off of the banner sound before it loaded. When I exited it went back to WiiFlow with no problems.

I ran a number of other games w/o problem and could exit back to the System Menu w/o a code dump. Many of the games had the same scratching sound right after running them as the banner sound was closed down.

I haven't seen a code dump yet which is great but would like to run the emulators/plugins since that what seemed to cause the problems the last time.

I did notice something which is a nasty bug... if you have set a parental code there is no way to exit WiiFlow. You have to clear the parental code before you can exit.

With a parental code set when you click home on the Wiimote or the home icon the Exit To button does nothing. And B on the home icon does nothing.

Also it looks like there is a problem with the Parental Code. I have to click the Erase button to actually clear the code. Don't remember having to do that before. I though entering the code cleared it.

r553 is working all good for me, one thing thats odd to me, when you do the full banner view and the "play and back" buttons are at the bottom, shouldnt they be reversed? back on the left and play on the right? more like the system menu? or if thats on purpose its all good :) thanks for everything FIX

hey fix, banners work great for me, ONLY issue i have is some of the banners have small problems.. i made a list of the games that had issues.

banners that have small glitchyness at the very very bottom(easier to see in fullscreen banner mode):

dead rising
jett rocket
kirby epic yarn
mario party 8
mario power tennis
mega man 9
my aquarium 1-2
need for speed nitro
sonic and the secret rings

can anyone else verify any of these for me btw....???

also i noticed that the Spore Hero banner looked kinda odd.... like blocky???

using r552.

i tested 100+ games..... hope this list helps somewhat.

ok here's a question, so playing with mplayer ce. have my new background finished for main menu of it.(not plug in,but using it as that.) an looking at a theme menu ini.(carbonik-m) i noticed i can change the source menu png.(texture).. i have done it. so i know it can be done.( just redid the line to point to background1.png) so it looks like this in my ini.

[SOURCE/BG]
texture=backgroundp.png, and now looks like this texture=background1.png .
( just had to delete the stupid p that was in the word background, guess that was a typo when writing the ini for the themes)
so i'm wondering if this could also be done for the plugins. so it would be writen like this.
[PLUGIN/BG]
"magic number"= background.png not sure if this would need to be coded into the "main file" or just added to the ini's
not that i would want the same background that is in mplayer ce.( it uses a loop.avi as it's background.)

EDIT.. i know banner is the big thing now with wiiflow, but i do not plan on using it. to me simple is nice. it looks to busy with banners, an it looks not as stable as i would like to see it,( but i know fix94 is sweating his balls off to make it stable.) plus i like my custom covers/ fan art, i made, an don't want to loose that.

use this video.cpp, changes are merged when updating source from svn, video.ccp at rev545

Add these to your data/images folder and replace current images

http://www.mediafire...4nawzj3h4oc8w5t

video.ccp is located in source/gui
@[member='pepxl'], hey sorry bud I just got a chance to d/load the images but Mediafire has it blocked for some kind of violation.

Strange, I only posted the link here.

Can't see how a wait screen I made was flagged unless some wise crack here reported it.

Try copying the link then pasting it in your address bar, I know MediaFire will say its blocked when hyper linked from certain forums, if it stick doesn't work ill reup it to dropbox or something

yes please, upload it to another site or something, i really like the look of it Thanks :)

Here you go guys, new link

http://dl.dropbox.co...it%20screen.rar

cool thanks a lot, but can i also have your modify video.ccp, Thanks :)

I noticed this too, it would be nice if the play and back buttons could be swapped around so it matches the system menu. :)

changing the background for each individual plugin shouldn't be too hard but the problem is what do you do for the background when two or more plugins are selected.

well that is true.
if could be done. have the magic number for plugins as the file name. (example, 5c54672.png) an have a folder that holds the backgrounds for those plug ins, in with the plug ins folder.
that way it's easier for the end user to chooce what background they want. but i'll do mplayer an see if i can get it to work.. will use the carbonik theme ini first an add the line i was wondering would work. if it needs to stay with the theme ini, then mybe adding 1-9 at the end of backgrounds , if the folder thought doesn't work.( so it would be magic numer=background1.png,ect.) if anyone is interested in a newer mplayer theme i have one built. the font is redone, an also has the icons next to the text. so it looks cleaner,an nicer. an a newer background, that fades to different colors.

I like Fanart and custom covers as well! @[member='abdallahterro'] I didn't get a response yet so I don't know if you got to read it, but since you're the custom banner expert, is it possible to make fanart into banners? I would really prefer soome of the banners to be fanart

I'd love to try it out. I've been using the mPlayer plug-in and I'm still using r523 for now. I plan to update to the latest rev, but I'd like to get confirmation if fanart can be converted to banners first, plus I'm really interested in trying out your theme as well.

FanArt are easy to make you need this: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?7dyf8cjxc79238x
Place the Fanarts in wiiflow\fanart folder (in root of your SD card or USB HDD)
You can extract the backgrounds from custom banners and use them to make your fanart as well.
Hope this helps

I haven't seen a code dump yet which is great but would like to run the emulators/plugins since that what seemed to cause the problems the last time.
No problem with plugins here, here is r554:
http://www.mediafire...9ej1xj8lvkx1ce6
edit:
Hm r554 is buggy sorry about that, r556 should work better:
http://www.mediafire...khhl227zkezu3uo

I didn't have many problems with r554 - other than with Dodge Racing - Chargers vs Challenger (RIXP7J) and Mario Super Sluggers (RMBE01). With Dodge Racing the tv said it was an unsupported video mode when I had it set to system default but when I changed it to game it came up fine as a 576i screen. Mario SS black screened about 2/3rds of the time when I had the display setting set to system default. I tried it with r557 and am having the same problem with it. However when I changed it to Game it didn't hang anymore. What is the difference between Game and System Default again?

I ran through a small drive I have with about 50 games and other than these 2 fixable problems the games ran fine. I will test it on my 2TB system with all the games (regular and emu) and let you know what I see. Hopefully I will be able to get to my emu games now.

Edit - just played a few more games on my larger system with r557.

Having the sae video problem where I have to set it to Game display for New Super Mario Bros Wii - The Other P (SMPP01).

Also had to change New Super Mario Bros Wii (SMNE01) to NTSC since it blackscreened. Never had that happen before.

New Super Mario Bros Wii Retro Remix (MRRP01) also had to be set to NTSC.

Tested a few others and getting similar problems. Did something change in how you handle video? Getting a ton of black screens that I have to force to NTSC or Game to display.

Thanks!

Edit 2: Went back to r522 and I can get all the games to play (except for Dodge Racing where I have to set it to Game) with the default video set to System Default so I think something got messed up on the video side of things.

Hey thanks Abz, but I think you misunderstood, I want to make my fanart into banners :P That way I can keep the look of the trailers and full banners, but replace the banner art with the fanart. I think it's possible, but just want the confirmation from you. Then using your banner guide at your custom GC banner thread maybe I can take all the fanart I have for wiiflow and convert my favorite ones into banners. What do you think?

Just send me one of the fanarts you have in a PM and I'll see what I can do. Maybe I'll make a new tutorial :)

FIX94 - I have an idea with games with 2 discs.. can you make a little menu in options games to select disc1 or disc2, and IF is possible that wiiflow can detect 2 disc with the same id and just present 1 cover not 2 covers for 2 discs of the same game... and the icon of the disc drive on the main screen is not working.
Thanks.. Good job...!!!!!

What Wii games require 2 discs? I have over 1200 and I don't remember any being on 2 discs.
