Bought this yesterday at Best Buy! ^_^ It's definitely a steal at $20, although no reversible boxart covers is a small OCD-ish letdown.
If only it let you use gamecube controllers... then it'd be the ultimate Pikmin 2.

It's a shame that Nintendo stopped doing these GC to Wii ports (ok Mario Power Tennis was ruined though) I can't see why they didn't do Mario Sunshine or Wind Waker, I mean they would have sold well but I guess they didn't want to put the work into making sure they were done right.

I don't particularly see how well Mario Sunshine or Wind Waker would've been adapted for new play control.
Mario Sunshine might have aiming of the spray...and that's it.

Anyhow they did all of these in 2009 and that was it. And for some reason, Pikmin 2 was the only New Play Control title that didn't come to America...
Anywho glad you guys finally get to enjoy Pikmin 2 in widescreen and improved graphics.

I bet Wind Waker could make it. There are 2 Zelda games on the wii, i can see it working... maybe. If Nintendo does it right...

Actually, there was also New Play Control Chibi Robo that didn't come to Europe or America. Though considering Chibi Robo didn't sell well in either country, it kind of makes sense.

To be honest I can do without a motion version of either but these two titles are two of the most requested. Any other company would have whored these out straight away but it would have been nice for new gamers to experience these titles.

I hope the Wii U has these for those people...would sure like some AA added to them but other than that they should be untouched, they still look good now.

Nice, I guess. I don't know why they didn't release it here a while ago. And my copy should arrive soon, so I'm not going to bother wasting my time downloading it.
Plus, at $20, you'd have to be pretty cheap to just...not buy it, if you want it that bad.

I've been playing this all day today... [:
So addicting... and just in time for Pikmin 3! More sales prior to a new game release than they might have had if they released it a few years ago.

I cannot find a torrent for this download, only crappy loose part downloads that take me 7 hours...

And? You need to report that your downloads are slow? _-_

Well ON-TOPIC, this game is great, I've played it once at a friends and well I'll guess and try to get the new play control version!
