To whoever is playing this game on desmume and is experiencing freezes, I think it's normal. I've played 3 hours of the regular heartgold rom and I've experienced freezes around 20 times already... Then again, idk if an AP patch is required.
Don't listen to flygon. Even with the latest version of Desmume, you'll still experience glitchy graphics and sprites every now and then that force you to save the game and reset. AP patches are not required. You just have to save in-game frequently (Save states don't count).

Although I'm not too sure about freezes, but I think freezes are what follow if the game is not saved when the sprites glitch up.
Here's one of my previous posts that addresses this: http://gbatemp.net/t...83#entry4250383
I've been forced to play on my acekard but I really like desmume due to the speed button. The freezes occured on while playing on desmume randomly. I would happen when I enter a building or find a wild pokemon. It would freeze and go black screen with the music still playing. I'm using the latest desmume.
Perhaps the freezes are caused by any cheats that you may be using? If not, then I don't know what to tell you, unfortunately. :\

Also... I think I've found a bug.
Mantyke does not evolve into Mantine.
It is supposed to evolve when a Remoraid is also in the party.
My party consisted of Mantyke, Remoraid, and Mew. Can someone else try this and confirm it? Or am I just going nuts?

:EDIT: Also, I encountered a wild Krabby at level 40 on Route 40 using a Super Rod, although Krabby is not listed on the Pokemon Locations.pdf as a Pokemon you can encounter there with a Super Rod.

I hope I'm not just finding bugs that have already been found in the past 47 pages. Well, in any case, I apologize in advance for the redundancy.

Thanks for another great hack Drayano

One problem I have though is when I'm playing on No$GBA with NO$zoomer. Every time I leave Mr Pokemons house and am supposed to get a phone call the Rom image crashes, emulator closes and I lose my save file. Anyone have a way to fix this?

First of all, this is an AMAZING hack! Excelent work Drayano! :)

I want to report a glich with Vespiquen: It doesn't have Intimidate ability, and it doesn's learn attacks in the orden you say on your documents...

This is a small glich! I just wanted to let you know!!
Read you around! :P

Everything works fine except that it doesn't allow me to save on the No$gba. Everytime I try it says backup memory has failed, you may play the game but not save please turn off power. Anyone know how I can save? I've messed around with different backup media and tried the save state but doesn't work =/

Update to the latest no$gba, it should work fine. For previous versions, you would normally have to mess around with the options for save file sizes.

Argh... stuck after beating Misty and returning the machine part, what am I supposed to do?

The old man still doesn't let me go through the tunnel, the guard at the entrance to Saffron City says that Saffron is recovering from the blackout, Snorlax remains asleep, and the guard at Viridian Forest says that Viridian is under police lockdown.

Do I have to beat the Elite Four again?

EDIT: Ignore this, I just realized that Vermillion Gym is now accesible and that Saffron will probably be open after that *facepalm

Do you know an auto-touch (or somethin similar) AR code to Dowsing mchn?
And an other to skip the irrelevant phone-calls?

both are rly annoying :)

Here's an AR code to stop all unnecessary calls from trainers and from your mother:

92251F46 000068A9
12251F46 00002100
D2000000 00000000

You will still be able to receive calls that are required for the storyline (since you're required to take them,) even with this code on.
I just hate that my mom calls me every other minute, and when you have trainers' numbers, they get quite annoying as well. I just don't let any trainers get my number since I can just rematch the gym leaders.

Oh, Thank You :)

Where can I find other useful ARs? Have you got some advise?

I know you said to ignore this, but I just thought I'd attempt to provide you with some additional information that may potentially be helpful to you. It's just the rough order of gyms that you'll have to go through. I put it in a spoiler box in case you or anyone else might not want to read a walkthrough-type paragraph.
The order of gyms is just like in the first generation (Red/Blue/Yellow), where you have to go to Pewter City (Brock), then through Mt. Moon (rival battle) to Cerulean City (Misty) after the Power Plant. Vermilion City's Lt. Surge follows Misty [Thank you DJPlace], then pass Lavender Town to Celedon City (Erica). Then comes Fuschia City [Janine] and Saffron [Sabrina] (I forget the order of this). Next, you've got Blaine's temporary gym on the second floor of Seafoam Island. Lastly, Blue is on the ruined Cinnabar Island, waiting to return the Viridian City gym when you talk to him with 7 out of the 8 badges.

Potentially, yes. Certain AR codes (for any and all games) can sometimes be buggy or unstable codes to start with. Personally, I like to test out a multiple variety of codes to weed out the unstable ones from the stable ones.
I actually haven't experienced any freezing issues at the Safari Zone, for example, because I made sure I wasn't doing anything that could potentially freeze/glitch up my game/sprites.
One of the most helpful ways to maintain stability (with or without codes) is to do in-game saves very often. Save as often as you would if you were playing on a real game system (a Nintendo DS, in this case).
Keep in mind that the most stable codes are the ones that do not drastically change your game play. So codes that change your sprite or lets you walk through walls may not be the best codes to use (Although I do use the walk through walls code, but only to avoid walking ALL the way around some trees or rocks if I hit a dead end in a cave, just to save the effort of flying back to the Pokemon Center to get my HM slave. Luckily, Dray got rid of most of the annoying HM moments, so I'm quite thrilled about that).
Also, the codes that speed up the text and the high throttle codes are not recommended, as they tend to destabilize the game, thus creating some frequent glitches and freezes.

This is all just the result of some experimentation with a number of emulators and games. I think No$gba is supposed to be a more stable emulator for some people, but I prefer and recommend Desmume because it doesn't require another program to zoom (no$zoomer), it can save states, and it has a throttle button (as opposed to a throttle option), and when No$gba has a rom image crash, your save progress is rolled back to the last time you properly saved and quit -_-.

Please remember that Google is your friend, and it can help you with many things in life.
But people can sometimes be your friends too, and so I'll help you out as well.

You can use Pokesav or Pokegen (apparently more stable, but doesn't help you with editing your inventory or gender) for the most basic changes (such as move changes, nature changes, money etc.), rather than using unstable AR codes.

But for codes for walking through walls, battle mods, and other in-game mods and actions, here are codes for pretty much everything: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?8621-ULTIMATE-SOUL-SILVER-AND-HEART-GOLD-CODES-V1.0"
