I'm hoping someone can help me. I just purchased a Supercard DSTWO from RHS and got it in the mail. I want to use it with my 3ds. I added all firmware from the Supercard site to my sd card, and updated it in my DSLite. I am on firmware 4.1.0-8u on my 3ds, but the supercard wont work. I keep getting the error message. It works fine on my DSLite, and my DSi. I have reformatted my card twice and updated twice, but it will not work in my 3ds. I also can't find the dstwo plugin someone told me I needed. I've tried googling and I haven't found a solution. Any ideas?

once you updated your DSTwo card did you immediately take out the micro sd card and delete the dstwoupdate.dat file before testing it on your 3DS?

Are you using EOS v1.11 from 3-23-2012 and firmware v1.15?

The update file disappeared on its own. Yes I am using the latest EOS, which from what I saw on the site is from 5/21/12.

OK, lets start from the top so I don't have to figure where the problem happened previously.
1. put the newest v1.15 firmware on your micro sd card, along with the newest EOS v1.11 files. Put the micro sd into your DSTwo, and the DSTwo into your 3DS.
2. Click the Alex Ridder Stormbreaker icon.
3. The error screen will come up (we want this) let it sit on the error screen for 3-4 minutes.
4. power off your 3DS.
5. remove your DSTwo
6. remove your micro sd card
7. put your SD card into your PC
8. Delete dstwoupdateb.dat file from the root of the micro sd card
9. Try your newly updated DSTwo card.
10. Problem solved!

I don't have to remove the dstwoupdateb.dat file myself because it deletes itself when I updated the firmware. Is there supposed to be a b at the end of the update file. My file says dstwoupdate.dat but you had a b in yours.

Do what I say. That is where the problem is...the dstwoupdateb.dat file! I'm not a rookie and I'm trying to help you (if you'll let me)

@Janthran
Thanks for your suggestion, but it isn't necessary. Oh, and it's not unstable in the least. It works fantastic. 100% reliability. Users just don't delete the file before testing the update so the Supercard DSTwo goes back into the updating process.

@nolegirl
Yes, put the "b" at the end like this (dstwoupdateb.dat)

Okay. Added back to the card, now I'm just waiting. After the 3-4 mins take the card back out delete it from the sd card, put it back in the Supercard and it should work? Am I going to have to do this every time I want to play my 3ds?

did you have just the dstwoupdateb.dat on the micro sd card, or did you have both dstwoupdate.dat and dstwoupdateb.dat on your micro sd card? I think you might have had both. You only want dstwoupdateb.dat on the root.
Also, you did have the dstwoupdateb.dat file on the root of your micro sd card, right (root means not in any folder at all)?
Once you get this right one time you will not have to do it every time, no worries.

Get your EOS and update files from HERE

I just had the dstwoupdateb.dat, and I had it on the root.

Use this file HERE for updating your DSTwo. And this EOS file HERE . Have no other files besides these on your micro sd card and try again. NO OTHER FILES. I'm trying to reduce issues with other files you have downloaded. By the way, are you formatting using the Panasonic SD Formatter v3.1 before each new attempt at getting the DSTwo compatible with v4.0.0.8 firmware?

Okay. Do I need the ds2boot file on the card or just the _dstwo and the dstwoupdate file? I'm just using my macbook to format the card. I've always used my macbook and its never been a problem.
