I dunno if this has been covered in here yet (I tried skimming through it and didn't find anything) I converted an anime episode which split into 3 parts but only the 1st part showed up in the gallery. Does anyone know why this is? the only changes I made to the video after it was converted was I changed the name so the default prefix (NIN) matched what everything in folders said (HNI).

..::EDIT::.. Also I have a problem with a supposed 3d video i have I converted it and put it on my 3ds and it displays the left and right as 2 pictures next to each other. I set the thing to 3d side by side. What am I doing wrong?

Really?!? The lowest Filesize I know from animes are around 150MB. But then you already have a quality that hurts your eyes. (240p)
The resolution is 640 x 368. That's still bigger than the 3DS's screen resolution I think so I didn't bother to go through the process of getting the 720p release and hardsubbing it. I just obtained an already compressed and downscaled version from a site I used to get my anime from when I had a small internet bandwidth.
That is still a VERY small filesize even with the resolution (480p or something like that)
Maybe you can send a PM to me with a link of that video. (I'm very interested in that because it could save a LOT of space on my hard drive

Sometimes the first video isn't showning up (I've fixed that already for 2D only, because 3D is a lot harder to do), but i've never seen that the other parts are missing. The renaming of the videos is unnecessary, because it doesn't matter as long as it's in this format: AAA_0000. Try reconverting the video and not renaming the Filenames.
Regarding your 2nd problem:
Are you sure that you really edited the video settings? Because by default the "Default" Tab is selected, which only changes Settings for all new Videos. When you first add the video and then change the default settings nothing will change. In this case click the Video, check that you are on the "Selected" Tab and make sure 3D Side-by-Side is activated.

Can't say for the 1st problem it's just an anomaly I guess. But I did do what to said for problem 2 and it worked a treat it all works greats thanks for that mate rep++!!.

but I was also wondering if it is possible to use 2 input files and your program to merge them into 1 output file.

Good to hear. :)
Don't know what you exactly mean by using 2 Input files.
If you mean one Video for the left eye and one for the right eye: Yes, you can select 3D-Seperated in the 3D-Options (But if the videos isn't exactly the same length and format it will propably won't work.
If you mean thyt you have 2 parts of a video and want to merge them: No, you can't do this and i won't add this because I want to keep the Converter very simple (unlike some other Converter out there) with only the ability to play videos on the 3DS in mind.

Yeah I meant one image for left eye and one for right how do you do this exactly? (sorry if I am getting a little annoying there aren't any tutorials for your program and very little documentation well documentation a person who cant understand german can find :) )

nevermind found it for some reason it scales weirdly on my screen so i have to expand the window but all is good

How do I download the 3D version of this clip. It has that YouTube 3D thingy but I am not able to download the side-by-side version of the video...

This is what i use http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/. Just get the free version and the rest is pretty self explanatory.
It still downloads the 2D version...

Really? It should download a 2D video file that has the video twice in the one frame, known as a side by side 3D movie. Then you use the 3DS converter using the setting 3D Side-By-Side to convert it? If the downloader isn't getting it rite initially make sure the YouTube video is set to side by side 3D before you try to download it!

EDIT: I just tried with your avengers clip and it did not work... THis is a real surprise as it has worked in the past multiple times. Ill try and find if there are any special settings needed for you!

JDownloader should work, because it allows you to download every Quality setting out of a Video. Haven't tried it yet but it always worked.

Ok, I'v got some things to say. First of all, Nekusoul your program is AMAZING! What you are doing ( Altruist, opensource development ) is the reason why I decided to study Computational Science as my degree (hopefully I'll start next year), and believe it or not you've been a great inspiration. I read your code and didn't understood a potato of it hehe.

The second, I'm kind of lost at this. Can anyone give me a link to a "sample" video on youtube to download with JDownloader? just to get used to the program.
I guess that's it for now :)

Still doesn't work...
Will try this by myself, but currently I'm on a Student Exchange with only DSL1000 at the Hostel. Will try this after that and post when i had success.

Thanks, and you are one of those people why i will continue to publish applications for free. B-)
Currently i'm in the second year of a IT-School and if you reallywant learn you will propably able to write your own applications.
I think this is my best public program unbesides a customizer for Win7 Jumplists and a little (yet very buggy) Game is in the Progress.
And the sourcecode is not really that complicated, it just looks complicated because all the parameters for ffMpeg. ;)

Edit: Oh and I almost forgot: I'm currently moving my Project to SourceForge, to get a proper Pagr to submit errors, ideas and hopefully some people that will help me out fixing Bugs.

Edit 2: F***ing SVN how do you work!?! Or atleast GitHub...

Hey neku!
Just made an account to tell you how much I love your converter, keep up the good work!
On a side note I'd really love it if you could add a volume setting because some of my vids have a pretty low one and it's a pain to boost it with my other softwares.
I was also wondering if there's a reason for the vids being out of order on the 3ds.
Anyway thanks a lot for that awesome program!

Thanks.
For the volume: Nice Feature, shouldn't be too hard to add.
About the video order: That depends in which order you select your Videos when copying. When you press CTRL+A, it's very likely that the last video becomes the first one. The best working method is to view the folder in a list style and then select all videos from bottom to top and then press CTRL+V.

PS: Gave up the idea to make a SVN or Github repo, for the first time. Bugs with video conversion still not solved. Maybe I will not to a bugfix and continue with adding new features.

Oh and @All Dev's out there: Everyone who wants to help me out is highly appreciated.
