ROM Hack Pokémon Blaze Black & Pokémon Volt White

I can't figure out how to get this to work. I've tried 3.1 and 3.03 for BlazeBlack and 3.03 for VoltWhite and have been getting "load rom errcode=-4" on my DSTTi. This used to happen when my firmware was out of date but I just updated it. I've used a clean White ROM and a patched Black ROM, neither worked.

Can anybody help? I'd really like to play this.

EDIT: And if it's not really possible to play this on DSTTi, can someone recommend a decent flash card that definitely works with this?

EDIT2: RetroGameFan's firmware fixed it.

Quick note, I'd prefer it if you're going to ask me a question that you either ask in the thread OR send me a PM. Quite a few people have been doing both and it doesn't usually get you an answer any faster.

Nope, clean version has no Pokémon edits whatsoever. DW alone was something I had been thinking of, although the fact I'd have to overwrite some abilities makes it difficult...

They're all in the eastern bits of Unova. And good to hear; though I never liked Spirit Gold that much, haha. Hope you enjoy the others anyway.

ok well this has probably been posted before but i cannot be bothered going through 140 pages, so here goes. I have a black screen directly after I press "new game" and i already have the save ar code and the raw code, so i don't think saving will be an issue, just the black screen.. help?

If you're using an emulator, make sure your save type is either set to Flash 512K or auto. If it's still on EEPROM 64K or something then that tends to happen.

I was wondering if anyone could answer my question that I posted earlier?

In Volt White(Full Version) I have a Raticate at lvl.20. Now the documents say that it should learn Sword Dance, Fire/Thunder/Ice Fang at lvl.20, but mine only learned Scary Face.
So what's the deal, bug in hack or error in document. If it's the latter, what's the correct level?

Ah, sorry, forgot to check the Raticate thing. Looking at the hex, it seems I just plain forgot to add it in. Sorry >>;

Bulbasaur is found in shaking grass inside Pinwheel Forest.

I'm quite retarded when it comes to roms, so whenever I try to patch blaze black, it says something about the xdelta.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command. I also have my regular black rom in the patching folder. Can somebody help me?

ok so i've finally fixed my issues with the game than when i load the game, it says
Fatal Error-PokemonFullWhite.SAV
and then it crashes. I've had to start over 4 times already :| do any of you guys know how to fix this?

I have a question about the post game trainers. Are their pokemon's levels just jacked up to a high number(such as 92) just to scare you? As far as I know, i'm only getting a moderate amount of EXP from them while having little to no trouble taking them down lol. (my team is in the 70-73 range)

That problem I posted about forever ago, the foe not losing health....
I found out what causes it... If the foe uses a non-damaging move, from then on, its health doesn't fall. (I only just noticed it, against Caitlin's Bronzong.) And it only happens in "major" battles, so I really dunno what's happening. :\

Uhh, can't say I know exactly, though did you try deleting the initial .sav entirely before trying to play the game again? Kind of a weird error though (unless you're loading the wrong thing...)

Well for the generic trainers, I haven't added anything special to them so... yeah, I guess it is more of a scare tactic than anything. IIRC the evolved ones tend to be in the 80s and I might have stuck a couple unevolved 90s, but I don't remember.

Never even seen that glitch, it's probably not something I could fix without seeing it reproduced (or even fix altogether, might not be my end).

Drayden is fierce :3 I thought it was a bit silly that they were just crammed in one place so I split them up, that's all really. Since I redid the Wild List in V3 they're just in various places around the region.

I think there's a problem with the Gothita family. The documentation says its abilities should be frisk or magic bounce but it always appears with shadow tag.
Also, for some reason I just caught a Delibird that knows Crabhammer...

p.S. Has the soul dew ->frost breath change been done yet?
