Err, about the patch.
Marusero is working on a test patch up to end of day 1. However, I haven't heard from him in a while so I don't really know how it's coming along.
I'm still slugging along with Phara route. I'll update you guys if I hear from Marusero about the patch.

I only handle the translation part. You'll have to take it up with Marusero if you want to help with hacking/patching.
Speaking of helping, does anyone want to help edit? It's a long, thankless job that entails tearing out your hair as you try to make the sentence sound like something a human being could ever dream of uttering without changing the meaning.

Actually, I think SummonNightXTrans is good enough for everything, this project don't need a lot of hackers since everything is covered already.
and Patching... everyone can do it seriously... that's not something you need help for...

It's kinda annoying because the last group that was working on this (Crimson Nocturnal) had already translated most, if not all of the images, IIRC.. I know they randomly disappeared without passing their work on to anyone, but it's just a shame that this group has had to literally start from scratch
There weren't *that* many images anyway though- mainly just the character names, mini-maps, and whatnot...

How much of main dialogs in this game is voiced? And how important not voiced ones? I can speak japanese, I just can't read it... So far I was played 1-2 hours and don't really have much trouble with understanding. But will dialogs be voiced up to the end of the game? Just thinking should I wait for full patch or keep on playing... Anyway good luck with translation, I looking foward to it.
All storyline dialogue is voiced. Parliament sessions are voiced as well. Signposts, guild quest description etc are not.

What is your avatar from? Seen it a few times, but don't know source. On side note, yay for Summon Night, played both of the Swordcraft's Story or whatever on GBA, they were fun. DS one I played (English release) was different but still a good play, will try this one.
