OK, so as the topic shows my phone stopped working, so I'm going to go buy another one tomorrow. I only want an Android phone, but I'm not sure which one to get. It has to be a phone with Verizon. I'm thinking about getting the Droid 4, but not sure. What do you guys think?

I have the Galaxy S II and it's pretty good. The downside is that battery life dips rather quickly after only about 100 charges.

Tried G. Nexus but didn't like it.

Well, try HTC? Their phone range is pretty wide, and the OS is constantly updated.

Mmm. Well, I would add that the keyboard is pretty well sized on it, and the auto correction feature it sports is pretty accurate most of the time. And so far, I haven't found a replacement keyboard I like more than the stock one.

And it works fine for me with my large thumbs lol.

You'll definitely be trading off some better specs by asking for a QWERTY keyboard. Taking quick glance through the Verizon selection, the DROID 4 is indeed your best choice for a QWERTY Android device. The device does have a dual-core processor, and has been noted for a decent build quality (always nice). However, there are notable disadvantages in terms of other hardware, with screen quality being said to be rather poor, while the non-replaceable battery yields less than satisfactory battery life, which can affect your usage because the dual-core processor will drain the power if even if you're simply texting all day.

If you really want the physical keyboard, get the DROID 4. If not, there are better options available for you, such as the aforementioned Galaxy Nexus.

I'm probably going to get the Droid 4, but I'll check out the touch screen only phones while I'm in the store to see how well the touch only QWERTY boards feel.
