I hope someone can help. I tried the modmii for windows, didn't work, my Wii froze on the scam screen, so I tried the hackmii solutions didn't work either. I have a launch wii, bought it January 2007 system menu 4.3u, I'm using a 2 GB Maxell SD card I also used a 4 GB sdhc SanDisk card, tried letterbomb and smash stack exploits. The first time I tried installing hackmii installer I got "no vulnerable ios found so suck it" error message, now every time I try installing hackmii installer my wii freezes on the scam screen. When I tried the hackmii solutions I installed the wads but my wii still froze on the scam screen when I launched hackmii installer from the apps folder. I was told in some other forum that I have a brick wii even though I've never tried hacking my Wii before. I’ll attach the logs and syscheck hope it helps and hope you guys can help me. Let me know if you need anymore info. Thanks

Delete everything from your SD card and try ModMii again. You're doing it wrong.

I have formatted the sd card to every possible setting it can be formatted to, I've formatted the wii, I've used different SD card brands. So I dont see how I'm doing it wrong.

You can get it with NUSD. Just tick the option to pack it as a wad.

The only thing I can say is to give ModMii another try and make sure it's updated to the latest version. (v5.5.0 as of this post). Neither of your reports show that you have ios236 installed (which is one of the very first steps in ModMii), so you had to have done it wrong.

Edit: Use the wizard and make your selections as if you have never attempted to mod your wii before. Also use the update active ios option when it asks, even though you are already on 4.3U.

Tried Modmii v5.5.0 and selected update active ios option, but got the same results, wii hangs on scam screen. I dont see what I'm doing that would cause it to hang.

Try installing ALL of the wads that ModMii created (use ios236 to install), then trying again.

This looks very femiliar.

Do this:

1. Google up Letterbomb for 4.3
2. When you enter the site choose for the red wire
3. Fill in your MAC adress. You will find it in Settings -> Network
4. Download the file and put them on your SD

5. Get MMM (multi mod manager)
6. rename the mmm.dol to boot.dol and put it in the root of your SD
7. Insert your SD in the Wii and turn it on
8. Start Bannerbomb and MMM will load up

Please let me know if you can do this. Then i can see what options you have from there.

It's sad that everyone who recommended ModMii is recommending he use the ModMii Wizard... what you want to do in this case is run ModMii's hackmii solutions wizard + guide... in fact, the ModMii Wizard guide would have instructed u to do so if you ran into problems loading the hackmii installer.
