PROMOTION
Well, please add how we get promoted to the forum rules and whose job is the assigning of new staff{not just stickying it, people would have to roam around the site}. adding more info in the rules would clarify almost all questions formulated by the members.... so that we would not have to talk about it as new posts, but just to argue and critique it
FLAWS IN THE RULES, i think
i think it's a must not just a may:
"may not" is just a possibility of not doing it, and so there is alway a complement, in others, a possibility of perhaps doing it....
POST DELETION
And yeah, a lot of peeps wanted to have the delete button be added so that posts* needed to be deleted {those that of course violates the rules, that is}. We might have posted things by mistake...... And about the post count, it could also decrease as we delete things.... our own things. Maybe the delete could be available as long as no one else had replied to the topic being started, editing posts and erasing some/all contents won't make the topic disappear, and by chance, would make persons reading that particular topic bewildered since in the middle of the thread, an empty edited post was there.
*I'm referring to posts WE own.
But perhaps, there could be a notice button for requesting the moderators/staff to delete an irrelevant post. Members might help you find unwanted posts. it's like "Report Post" or something like that, of course we could not just report something without appropriate reasons since we might be the one to be banned instead.
Yeah, why the hell am I complaining? Coz I want to contribute some ideas.... that perhaps may help, or not.
I made my comment very long and sure am lazy to review.... and I know there flaws in the comments I made, but I'm also sure that some members can find loopholes in this site, allowing it to be circumvented, outwitting you, and getting around the restrictions.

How about FAQs Section just to support the rules and other info like what the hell's GBATemp?And I really the names to be changed some day.... Days go on and so we should, and games and consoles did go on.... some day GBA would be obsolete and archaic, wouldn't that make this site "old" too?

QUESTION: Would banned members be able to make a new account? How then effective is the banning system?
TESTING AREA
Won't members posting in the Testing Area about things that might violate rules get any sanctions? I mean, it is just a testing area, so you can test if it's allowed. Plus, the description says that part of the forum is just for testing of signatures, etc.... Being lenient enough to allow these posts with topics otherwise?
