It is hard to say, because each homebrew program is different.. However most (probably all) emulation software will work....If it works on the other major carts, it will work on the DsTSwo.

Some are specially developed for the dsTwo using the cpu is it safe and will it drain the battery? ds2x86 is one made just for dstwo card.

If the homebrew was coded specifically for the DSTwo, then it is safe to assume it would work on the DSTwo.

There is some extra battery loss when using DS2 specific homebrew compared to normal homebrew - Look @ my battery thread (see signature for the link) to see some examples of the difference in battery life (Section 6 has specific DSTwo battery tests)
What homebrew/ emus work?
yes all homebrew I assume for the DS so far works with the ds2.
Not all homebrews work on all flash carts, but it's rare, and it's usually homebrew that has trouble on lots of carts.
I would say ~90-95% of all homebrew will work on the DSTwo - as Rydian has said, usually there are some probmatic homebrew that won't work (DSOrganise is one - it'll work but only if you have Wifi turned OFF)
- I've usually found that those that insist on being run from ONLY the root directory can cause problems IF you use the standard 'plugin menu' of the DS2, but if you use the alternative 'imenu' or 'Bagplug' you can get around this issue...

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I remember seeing the very first episode back in the day, and have watched every episode since. I used to set my VCR to record them even, shows how long ago.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just like any comedies really, and cartoons have always been a favorite of mine. Family guy, American Dad, Futurama, Cleveland Show, Simpsons - I like them all.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
South Park is great cause they always touch on relavent issues going on today, and make something funny out of it.
