but its for the gold.. so is that a problem if i try to do it for the old one?

1 of the cards has the white screen problem and i can't get it to go away.

It says you can hotfix a card with the "whitescreen" problem using another, working card - which it sounds like you have?

sounds like you have placed the wrong kernel on your card or your 3DS is updated to 3.0.0-5

and you didnt get this link from me LOL

they probally mad i posted it but who cares

its also there latest unreleased kernel

i have a brand new 3ds ...my first experience with 3ds
without any knowledge ..i purchased r4 sdhc dual core that i discovered that it doesnt work with 3ds v 3.0.05-u
how can i update or upgrade ??

ive ammened the front page to make it noob proof as possible

please read you site more carefully as it states all teh information i state apart from teh firmware upgrade on there site which they ahvnt made public that i have posted

So what you're saying is that I need to downgrade the flashcard firmware (I got the latest from the web) to 2.0?
Also, I've been checking the web and I can't find any news about it...

Sorry if im too insistent, but I just wanna make sure before I screw it up

If the first post says the card works, it should work on the latest card firmware as well as the latest 3DS firmware.

PLEASE BE CAREFULL GUYS

i myself just realised that everyone with R4iSDHC.com cards
r4iSDHC DUAL Core there is many versions
theres the Dual Core which they call the White
then there is the Dual Core which they call New White
and there is the Dual Core Gold
so please make sure you check on there site which one you are using

Thats what I been trying to say. If you have the old white one it wont work. I havent got it to work on the 3.0.0.5 Yet even with the firmware leak that I used. So If we went off the website info we are screwed.

well not working with the update still works on my old ds u posted to watch out for new white and old white and someone else said that old white wont work i guess i got old one got it this summer

How can I download the patch?

its a game patch not a firmware
will promt you only if you need it
most likely not in all regions
either to correct typos or bugs im guessing

People are reporting flashcard complete blockage and if a flashcard is unrecognisable until you reformat the 3DS
if you use the flashcard and being on the Wifi at the same time

Ok.

I did indeed get a 3DS for Christmas (seems to currently have firmware 1.0.0 (?) on it). We also have 2 DSLs and 2 Acekard 2i's in the house. The Acekard firmware (I think) has never been updated but AKAIO on both of them is regularly updated.

From reading here, I presume I need to update the firmware of one the Acekard's using a DSL before even putting it in the 3DS ?

Also, do I get the latest firmware from the Acekard site ?

get the acekard firmware and run the correct .nds file on the flashcard on the NDSlite
its in teh name for what one you need but if you never applied a firmware update before the 3ds one wont work as it would have never had the origional 3ds one applied ot it

Hi All. Merry Xmas to everyone!

I have a question. I have M3i Zero flashed to the latest M3i firmware and the kids 3DS's are on V2.1.0-4E and all works good. I have purchased my son Mario 3D land for Xmas which requires the latest 3DS update and this is where i am confused. I have read at the top of this thread that M3i Zero is not supported on the V3.0.0-6e, however, on Wiihacks it states that M3i Zero works - very confused....

Has anyone got this (M3i Zero) working on 3.0.0-6?

In addition and if not, is there a way around bypassing the update and still playing the game?

sorry i havnt heard anymore but they have released a recent update to work on 3.0.0-5 (and as 3.0.0-6 doesnt have any card blocking stuff should be fine)

Unzip the firmware ( F_CORE_v3.0.5 ) and driver ( G6&M3DS-R_M74) downloaded (using Winrar) on your PC
- Winrar can be downloaded from www.download.com by searching for Winrar at the Search.
- Unzip the files mentioned under the Software Preparation above, you will have one folder and one file as follows.
  F_CORE_v3.0.5 G6&M3DS-R_M74 F_CORE.DAT SYSTEM
Select all the two unzipped files and copy them to the root of microSD / SDHC memory card after you have formatted the micro SD / SDHC card in FAT32.
Insert Micro SD/SDHC card into the M3i
Put the upgrade cable into the M3i. The shinny metal contact of the cable, i.e. the side with the ARROW on it, should face the BACK of the M3i.
Plug the USB port into your PC, or anything that has a port that will give it power
The M3i should blink for about 15~20 seconds. After it stops blinking, your M3i is flashed.

Note:
LED blinks – in progress
LED lights off – no power or incomplete
LED lights on – error (no "f_core.dat" or wrong file etc.)
If the LED light turns RED (without flashing), it means the update is unsuccessful. Please repeat the whole process from step 1 after you have checked the Possible Reasons For Upgrade Failure listed belowfollowing:

Put the upgrade file into sub directory, not the root directory, and the firmware writer can not detect the upgrade file.
USB port can not provide a stable power, please change a stable USB port.
There are too many disk defragments in the MicroSD memory card, which needs to be formatted before upgrade. For memory card formatting, please refer to the guide under Format a MicroSD / SDHC card above.

What does the bold bit mean exactly ? Though I think I am going to have a buy a 3rd acekard anyway (I assume an acekard with the 3DS firmware won't work on a DSL ?) rather than keep borrowing one of the 2 we already have

Is the original m3i zero working now? If not it should be listed under blocked to stop any accidental updates.

The minor update improves system stability.

System Update version 3.0.0-6 is now available and should be delivered to 3DS systems worldwide shortly.
The updated version doesn't appear to include any major changes. Nintendo's website states simply that "further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience."
Nintendo has used similar language in the past while patching security holes in order to block Flash cards. Messages on various Chinese message boards indicate that this is again the case.
While the small update will be delivered automatically, users can update immediately through the unit's System Settings app.
