Oh and this seem like a higher chance for localization...
No, it doesn't.
Monster Hunter always does great in Japan, look at Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and HD. Are we getting that? No.
If they do release it for the west, online is a must for me.
There is no online, go play Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii if you want online.

why the stupid quote? I know there isn't online in the Japanese version and hence why I won't get it.
It sounded more like you'd only buy this game because it has online

Or you think Capcom would put online in the localized version, which is pretty lolzy if you think that.

That's correct, its wishful thinking mate. I know it won't be added :P

That's pretty much why I might not buy it if it gets localized. I played MH3 on Wii, and online mode was really awesome. The game gets really interesting when played with other people. And since none of my friends have a 3DS, local multiplayer will be hard...

i think the lack of online will not only be the big deal breaker for most people, but also theres a chance it wont even come to US.
Capcom still hasnt said anything about it coming and everyone who likes monster hunter remembers how we were skimped out of portable 3rd, and HD.
I'm gonna wait until they say its being brought over, a year from now, and then figure out how we can petition capcom to put online on it.

...Is that a dick in the cover? :wtf:
Anyway, I'm somewhat new to the monster hunter series (I've only played Tri and a demo of one of the ps2 versions),
but, still, I'm interested in the game (and, this time, I will be able to play with my best friend!).

If you think that looks like a dick than I suggest you go a see a doctor pronto.
Not anywhere near what Demon Mara looks like.

Anyways, I'm so gonna annoy my aunt for this right now. She works in Japan but will be coming home this holiday. I can pay her back I guess, or buy her son a US one in exchange. But i'll get this. and the pad pro too.

also, surprised how the pad pro is quickly adopted as "must-have". it may be ugly, but it's selling like pancake.

I guess I might pirate it when the crown3ds comes out
don't forget to buy a JP 3DS. don't assume that the crown3DS will also magically disable region locking, which is probably hardcoded into the software.

I don't know why everyone thinks this is so farfetched. Capcom has already done this once before with Tatsunoko vs Capcom due to demand. There's still the possibility they might do it again. An extremely low possibility, but it's still there.

Time to get extreme. Capcom, I KNOW you're reading this.

I have always considered you one of my favorite developers/publishers. However, if Monster Hunter 3G isn't released in the USA, I will NEVER buy one of your games again. I got over you dropping Clover Studios and still using their IP, I got over Mega Man Legends 3, I got over no Mega Man/X/EXE/Rollnut/Team DMC/Team Trenchcoat in Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, I got over Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (and bought it to patch it damn it, 75 bucks to import), Igot over Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD, and finally I got over the Kirin being the shittiest monster in the series. But if you don't localize this... I will NOT forgive you.

Good day.

Honestly, I wouldn't give one that much - I don't own a 3DS so I don't really give one anyway aha.

But, if I did have a 3DS, I'd much rather having MH4 localized so we get all new content.

Because it's ridiculous to play MH with just one analog stick, especially in underwater.
That's also why the PSP version didn't have any underwater areas.

Which is why logically they would just make it for the Vita instead.

inb4 haters gonna hate.

Actually, that makes sense. Capcom only ditched Sony thinking that the 3DS would sell better. It's fine, after all. Monster Hunter'll be back on the Vita at some point.

Yeah, there'll be a MH4 portable/hd/G 1 year after MH4 3DS release, and maybe sooner.

Seriously, though. They've admitted to this when they were considering which system to put 3G out on. Before the 3DS and Vita came out or even had been revealed... I can't find articles about it though, it seems. Recent news floods the interwebz.

I dunno man. I just want to play this game. ;O; A year without Skyrimjob OR Monster Hunter 3G is a sad, sad Christmas for me. ;O;

Copied from another thread and not completely same context:

You don't use those positions to control a right analog stick do you? No, either way you have to remove your thumb away from the buttons and on to the stick. The only control method that has the advantage of using the sticks and buttons at the same time is the "bumper jumper" type control layout in Halo. What don't people understand about this? This is why it seems as though people are just trolling. Okay, I'll be the elitist. The only real way to play Monster Hunter is the right control stick as the attack command.

And I could be wrong but I get the feeling more people use the stick to play using the classic PS2 style gameplay rather than moving the camera in Japan. Who cares about the underwater? The PSP definitely wasn't the reason why they didn't have underwater areas. They did not ditch Sony because they thought it would sell better on the 3DS, how many PSP's are out there compared to 3DS? Let's not forget how there's practically a LOCK ON feature in the 3DS version, so why is the camera such a big deal?
