Never played the first one and never understood the hype surrounding it. People are really enthusiastic about this at the moment, don't really see what the big deal is....
I'm sure there's a reason why this is for the 3DS.mechagouki said:Luigi's mansion was the first GameCube game I played (I bought the Zelda collection GC pack), and I really enjoyed it, but was frustrated by how short and easy it was - graphically stunning though, still one of the best looking games on GC IMHO.
I am currently re-playing it with my 4-1/2 year old son - he loves the game.
It's cool they made a sequel, though I don't think the graphical style is as good as the original - ghosts look too solid - it's also too bad they decided to release for 3DS, a high def Wii U game would have been great.

I loved the original so much. I can NOT wait for this (:3

What do you guy think Luigis will carry around as an portable? 3DS Horror
Well, Since before when he used the "GBC" - Game Boy Horror,
This game is like a deja vu...anyone rembers Yoshi's Island 2, turned into Yoshi's Island DS just before the release?Well, it was the 11-years-later-sequel to Yoshi's Island, and it was done by an external team not great(Artoon). And it wasn't nearly as good as the original.
Now we have the 11-years-later-sequel to Luigi's Mansion, developed from an external developer who did only tie-in and sport games(Next Level Games)...I wouldn't be suprised if they will change the name if it won't be as good as the original.
