I still haven't completed the game yet, I wanted to do most things I could before killing the last boss.
I don't know if I will be able to unlock all the trophies and complete all skills 100% (not a lot of time left until zelda

)

What's new/different or reseted in the newgame+?
Does the quests restarts from the beginning or are also kept?
having them reseted would be good to try the other choices for multiple choice quests.

I've read that Shulk can equip other weapons than Monado, it's right?

ps:
I added another multi-choice quest, but I did it from memory and I don't remember the NPC names.
I have problem with remembering names x__x

You start the game with all your previous equipment and level + Shulk gets a new monado.
You can chose a number of items/gear etc to keep, rest gets deleted.
Collections stays.

Other than that its just like a normal new game. So in short, you are higher level and have a new monado from start.
Edit: Shulk can not equip any other weapon than monado.

All quests get restarted, but you keep unlocked Skill trees.

Thanks for that list

Though, I don't need it anymore, I've completed almost everything yesterday.
I completed the colony 6 rebuilding.
I was missing an item because of the translation ... they used "Ocean" instead of "Sea", they used to tell "ocean" for the fallen Arms and sea for Eryth sea.
(though in Japanese I'm sure it used both "umi" for Euriut sea and The fallen arm).

I've also complete almost all quests, I'm missing 3 unique monster's quest (they don't want to spawn!).
I've found new collection items, and completed new quests with multiple choices. I'll update my mini guide

(edit: Done. Still incomplete though. I added the google doc link)

Maybe I'll check that google doc for the things I'm missing, I'm starting to feel a little stuffed after 230H of game.
I wanted to complete all quests and unlock all skills but it's very long.
I'll go to the last boss next time I play

My goal was to finish the game before Skyrim came out. Skyrim unlocks at 9pm tomorrow night for me, and I'm on the tail end of Prison Island, so it looks like I'll accomplish my goal.

I'll do a second playthrough on New Game+ eventually and go for being a completionist, but for now, I'm just excited to see the conclusion to one of the best games I have ever, ever played.

but now comes Skyward Sword....

I will have to put on hold xenoblade until I finish the new zelda game.

I would like to complete all quests before the final boss too (and before zelda), but I don't know how I can meet three unique monsters :/

I have these quests, but they don't spawn.

- Wallslide Gwynry at magmell in tephra's cave : Never spawned (I guess I killed it once without caring about future missions).
- Shimmering Forte in the jungle (Eks watering hole, on a hot day) : Yeah, I went on hot days a lot of times, trying different hours too.
- Veteran Yozel, at silent obelisk in satorl. : I did teleport a lot, and even made re-spawn another unique monster at this place but not the good one.

Also, monsters with Lv > 100 are very strong

I'm lv99 and I can't kill the Lv104 unique monster on the beach. I'm dead in 3 seconds O_O

And I have 2 quests left at Col6:
- ~~in pursuit of love (I guess I need to invite more people to C6)~~
- nic's training : The monster is not spawning either, what's wrong with the spawn system ? !!
- Relica Monado 4 (missing 2 items: Demonic overflame from a dragon, Tirkin edler medal) (Oh, they don't have the same name in French, it's called Rampha)
- ~~defend Col6 - Ancient (after completing the col6 100%)~~ done

I don't know where I can find a dragon, nor which Tirkin will give me a medal.
Can I call the bell's dragon again before, the one before final boss?

About unlockable skills, I have 3 of 14 missing skill's column, it's a good stat

I still don't have any member with 100% skill learned.
nor any member with 100% attack skills learned to level X.

I had the same problem. He's supposed to spawn in the U Shaped room, but he NEVER did after the first time I killed him. I ended up skipping it altogether. He can't be a one time monster - none of the other ones are, but man, I just couldn't get him.

I can't find that one either... and Im sure that've never killed it before getting the quest.

In fact... Im I recall correctly, that quest is given by the noppons that are at the beggining of the map (before the bridge)

I thought it was in the village.
I checked, it's a Nopon seller, without name.
So you are right, the only sellers are before the first bridge.

I can't find him either. And I've killed everything in that room and even tooled around for hours waiting for him to spawn. I dont think he does respawn. I don't remember killing him before. It's actually annoying me quite a bit.

Waiting on the map allow re-spawning, but to make enemy re-spawn quicker, you can teleport to reload the map.
after few teleports (even on the same spot) it re-spawns unique monsters too.

I could fight old one I've killed like that, but the three unique monsters I listed in my previous post don't even want to spawn for the first time

230H is not enough?

Instead of teleporting, you can just save the game in a different room, save and reload, and the run back. But even with that, I couldn't get that damn monster to respawn. I just ended up giving up.

For those elites over lvl 100 you'll want to farm some good gems and MEGAHEAT them, course you'll have to pick gems appropriate for your party, though most will need spike defense.

The game is freaking amazing. I've just gotten to the fallen arm a few hours of game play ago (I'm currently at 72 hours of gameplay), and I am still become amazed with what this game has to offer. I don't think I've ever put this much effort into a game before, and I generally don't play games offen, but this game totally captivates me.

I ordered mine from someone on ebay. With shipping I paid around $75.... but damn, it is worth every penny.

Don't pirate it. It's worth the money.
