think that it is time to start seeing the first exploits in 3ds. It's been 8 months since its launch and already know what the console can offer, it is time for us to stop teasing and silly things such as games for the ambassadors and that this is completely free.

I'm tired of paying 50 euros for each game and then that lasts 10 hours, I think I paid enough money for the console first and second for every game I go shopping.

Liberate the nintendo 3ds Now!

It's too soon to be hacked. Let's save exploit(s) [If any] until the next revision or until it has a solid library. If there was a software hack, Nintendo would just release a quick update. If it were to be released any time soon, what would you pirate? And for a flashcard, look how long it took to reach dsi mode

So hackers are supposed to come clean with what ever they might know or have working because "your tired of paying"? Get real and get a life pal! I have been pirating backing up my legit games for a long time and I'm getting tired of the cat and mouse game... I wouldn't mind if the 3DS never gets hacked and flashcarts never come out for it but we all know that some day it will happen. Till then you should just keep your mouth shut because you're in no position to demand any thing form any body just because your tired of paying for games.

There's really no point in hacking the 3DS right now, unless you're really desperate for a bunch of 3DS shovelware.

morning last, next year, why not now?

Because people are still working on it? The 3ds will not get hacked just like that, I can tell you that right now. It's going to be awhile before anything that allows us to play pirated backed up games on the 3DS.

Let the hackers take their time with things.

How long did a stable DS exploit come?

Be patient.

Although I have to admit homebrew is the only way of showcasing the system potential.

Couldnt agree more! It would be nice to have all our 3ds rom backups on a single cart for convienance but at this early in the game It may just put off developers from programming for the 3ds.

I firmly believe that if we can decrypt the NAND on the 3DS, we could change the bootloader on the 3DS games to look for the data on regular flashcarts. Right now, as I'm typing this I've got my NAND decrypter working at this. If all goes correctly the 3DS's NAND should be mine in a few days, once I get that and decrypt it change the 3DS Bootloader, and encrypt it we'll be in business. However my only concern is that the ARM chip in the 3DS might short circuit. I have to use a flux compacitor, with a bit higher voltage that what I need. Pray, that that doesn't happen. Once done, we shall have 3DS Roms booting on regular flashcarts. Not to mention being able to dump 3DS/DSi/Virtual Console games and resign them using the NAND dump.

ok so you [OP] want piracy and hacking right now, correct? Dump the private key and make tools, then you may speak.

But besides that it's wayyy too early for piracy, as others have already mentioned. Give the 3ds 2-3 more years to get some air, man. I don't mind paying Nintendo for what few games I currently want since they deserve a payment for what few good games that are out now; most games I get off of ebay for $10-ish USD cheaper than in-stores which is really nice on my wallet so if you are saying games are not cheap buy them on ebay.

yes very true ,the first part of your post is
as for the dsi mode, there is just not as much interest in that, but i do concede that there were and maybe still are some very smart people working on dsi mode such as marcan, but then again he has not much interest in dsi lately as he is too bust with working on his openlase and kinect project, i even seen him on a pbs show talking about his kinect projects,
but he also has said before that he has no interest in the 3ds, that iss funny that he has little interest in hacking the dsi , but none in the 3ds,

but as for everyone else its quite the opposite, they will have a bunch or interest in hacking the 3ds, mostly flashcart manufacturers, for monetary reasons , but none in dsi

so marcan has not spent hardly any time working on the dsi and has spent no time working on 3ds, but other im sure are working hard on the 3ds

i am also surprised that there are no leaks, what with the colapse of the global economy, you think someone would sell out , i know they are not paid well

oh and that statue does not represent liberty, it is a pagan goddess that was put there by Freemasons, maybe even by the Illuminati ,
it symbolizes that the light,or illumination, or knowledge ,which is represented by the symbol of the torch, is being held over the heads of us all, it means that the people who put it there are in control of us because they are in control of all knowledge that they hol over our heads to control us all ,that why the torch is being held up high
held to high to where we can never reach it, being held over over our heads,

How about a 100% SNES emulator? or dare i say a PS1 emulator? I do agree on the shovelware comment. The main game i bought the 3DS for (Mega Man Legends 3) was cancelled so i'm just waiting around for better emulators to play past mega man games on the go.
