The 3DS still hasn't shown all it has, and the vita still hasn't come out, so you can't be sure of that until that time comes. Besides, it's Nintendo, up until now, Nintendo has always been the 'King' so to say of the handhelds, the DS had really crappy graphics compared to the PSP it didn't mean the end of the DS, also, there's lots of great tittles comming up for it. Like Monster Hunter, Tales of the Abyss (a remake, but it seems really nice anyway), a Persona game (announced but without more details), etc, etc... Sure, the 3DS isn't at it's best right now but it still has nice stuff...
Hum... I wonder if Nintendo will release games on the VC that never made it in english during their original release.

Well, I do believe Nintendo is the nicest one among those 3 (I guess they've been in the market long enough to learn how to please most people).
After all, they've been for a much longer time in the console market than sony and microsoft.

I bought mine at launch so I should get these for free? But how the hell do they check if you bought your 3DS for $250?
If you linked your 3DS's eshop account with your Nintendo account, you can go to the official website and there should be a place where you can input your 3DS's serial (those numbers on the back of the console) and it'll tell you if you're an ambassador or not. Also, they don't see if you paid the 250 or not, all they see was if you logged on the eshop on the day before they lowered the price (if it wasnt the day before, it was something close to it), they say all that in the notices you receive from nintendo.
Amazon was selling it for $170 during the ambassador program.
Objection overruled.

Eh, really? People said the same tune with the ds vs. psp yet the ds had more sales than the psp. I agree that we do live in a mostly graphic-whore gaming society now, but I don't believe either one will be better than the other in everything.

Last night I registered my 3DS. I'm an ambassador! I bet Nintendo tracked the serial numbers of the 3DS's sold for 250. I gotta get my NES games tonight. Can't wait now for the 10 free GBA games. I hope the original Fire Emblem on GBA is one of them
