I went to pawn shop and saw a near mint condition N64 with 1 controller for 65 US dollars. Is this a good deal?

Yeah, that's an awful deal.
Just the other week or so, I got a mint condition N64, no flaws what so ever, included the expansion pack and cover, a controller, all the hookups, for only 35 USD from a local game store.
That pawn shop owner needs to get a serious reality check, they're tripping if they think it's worth that much.

Agreed, I'd try to get a bundle with OoT, Majora's Mask, F-Zero X, Donkey Kong 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Perfect Dark, SM64, SMB, etc. Of course you wont get all of that for 65 USD, but they're worth getting, those are some of my favorite N64 games to be perfectly honest. Although, ever since I got my 64drive, I've been playing the N64 a lot more lately, even more than any of my other consoles, and I have a LOT of consoles, including a high-end gaming rig for computer games. Considering my Steam account is nearly worth 1,400 dollars, and that's not including the retail games I own, I'm really wasting all the games on my PC at the moment, I'm ashamed. Although... the N64 is worth it

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.+1

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
