@JoostinOnline

Thanks for your explaination.
Your opinion about (apps and NTFS) is the same as my experience.

Since I used to choose CFG to load backup files from NTFS parition.
It's all ok until this momonet.

I just want to tell Oggzee about this.
If this is not a issue about CFG, never mind.

Thanks for your help.

I am still wondering if it's generally a good idea to enable write_playlog...
Does anyone here enable it?
Yes, it seems that it is perfectly safe.

QUOTE(temp4746 @ Sep 12 2011, 09:25 PM) Can return_to_channel and write_playlog be used together?
No, unless I go and emulate the writeback to the full log as opposed to the current game file as I do now (the current game is usually added to the full log when you enter the Wii Menu, so you need to access the menu between games for write_playlog to work). I may get around to attempting to update the full log, but don't count on it being soon.

Can you install a Channel from games ran via CFG, like the Mario Kart Channel or Rabbids Go Home channel?
Yes, but it may not work without StartPatch or Priiloader if the game is an import game.

Just got this installed. In the instructions it says you can set it up to have it save the covers to the usb hard drive instead of the SD card. I moved the sd:/usb-loader folder to usb:/usb-loader but it doesn't seem to be finding it. Additionally, when I go to the Save Settings button in the system options, it says that sd:/usb-loader can't be found. How do I tell it to use the hard drive instead of the sd?

Edit: To be clear, the USB hard drive is FAT32.

Double check that you have the config.txt file in /usb-loader on the drive and that config.txt isn't on the sd card at all (delete or rename the /usb-loader directory on the SD if it exists). That should hopefully get it working.

I had installed CFG usb loader but it cannot detect my usb storage device, can someone help me?
Did you format it as FAT32?
Below are the message I received from my seller, can someone provide me details on how to installed proper firmware, mine is 4.3U NTSC (US Version)
wiimc reads normal format fat32/fat and only read rmvb/video files.. not games.

Your problem is some firmware not installed properly, not because of the drives, or the software wiiflow/wiimc/usb loader gx/neogamma..

Your seller has no idea what he is talking about. Disregarding the fact that the System Menu isn't even firmware, that has nothing to do with your HDD being detected. Now please answer my question.

I've had this problem lately where some games on the CFG menu can't be clicked in on because whenever I do the screen foes black, a bunch of text flashes by extremely fast and then crashes. Right now i believe the only game with the problem is COD:BO but it's happened before with others.

The only way I can access these games is by clicking the game next to it and scrolling with the + pad to said game.
Also I've noticed the game's jingle stopped working when scrolled to.

What causes this? Is it fixable?

I would really like to suggest that the change that was provided on page 1044, to allow a configurable cheat location, be implemented into the core. While it's very nice to have cheat functionality in this loader, it doesn't use the same cheat location that other applications do. And the cheat management feature of CFG doesn't let you modify codes that require it, which causes problems.

Right now, the only real solutions to those, are to download the codes manually (with any of the cheat management apps on HBB, such as Accio), then make edits to the code field (which is a feature of Accio, specifically for doing that), and then create the .gct, and THEN have to move it to the codes folder for CFG, either with WiiXplorer or by use of a computer.

If it were just patched to allow the cheat location to be changed, then it could readily be pointed at /codes/ on the SD/USB of choice. And it seems the actual code work was done, so would just have to be recompiled as an official patch.

Please?
