This is the continuation of the Giant's Hidden treasures quest that I've listed few page back.

You should already have a Giant's guts.
This one is the second quest, as you get another Giant's item, the Giant's heart.

- Go to tomb on Makna's upper area. This area is available after completing the Eryth sea chapter, you go there by plane to head to snowy mountains. Instead of going to the mountains head to the left.
- Try reading the red stone
- Go back to a Nopon near the fixed bridge, he will told you to go to archeology level in Nopon town, by night
- That Nopon ask you to find 3 ancient scripts (you should have 2 or 3 already).
  • (I forgot where I found the first one, it's in Makna anyway).
  • Follow the river at the start of the jungle level, it's on a cave on the right.
  • Near the tomb, at the right of the exit to the snow mountains
- With the 3 ancient scripts, talk to Nopon again to decipher it, and go to the tomb.
- Fight the unique monster (lv46 if I remember).
- Go back to Nopon, she says that you need some oil to open it, it's available in Eryth sea (the robot monsters on middle islands).
- Go back to Nopon, she give you lubricant
- Make a trade, she has a unique collection item for the last collector page.
- Go to king's Agni tomb, fight the unique monster again (hell, when we want them they don't re-spawn, and when we hope they are not there, they always re-spawn!)
- Go down and check the real tomb.

- Grab Monado's ruin (New skill) & Warrior's soul (enhancement skill books). (do not use the enhancement skill book if you don't have the skill! but read the Monado's ruin to learn the new skill)

- Go back to Nopon, she will give you the second Giant's item : Giant's heart and 10 000 exp

Ta
S means you can attach gems to that piece of armor or weapon. U means there is a gem that comes with the armor/weapon that you can't take off of it.

Good idea - shame that in such a great game there's not a more convenient route. Thanks

Auro monado special? you mean Purge? you use it when the enemy hits you with Spike damage (blue numbers when attacking) or when the enemy has a nasty aura effect (glows around them) I think removal of spike is permanent for the battle, while aura can be activated again when the effect runs out (shows on the enemy info window above them)

also wow you can open up King Agni's tomb that early, im lvl 93 and i havent openned it yet.

If you compare only with the member statistics, you don't have the real power as it takes the gems in account.

Also, you can sort items by their strength or defense.

I never went to snow mountain yet. I'm still in the jungle, I did the first part of king Agni's tomb (I entered the temple,, but didn't open/move the tomb itself). but now I need to go to snow mountain to complete this quest.
I completed almost all other quests so I will now advance in the story.

About aura, is that the one you use against Telessia ?
If it is, then monsters have an aura around them when they are alert/reading your mind/etc.

if it's a new power you find in the snow mountain, then I don't know

@Schezo92:
I think maybe if you are lv93 (whoa!) and still don't have access to that quest, it's maybe because you don't have enough Quest stars for nopon town ?
You may not have completed enough quest yet.

You may need the 3 stars level in Nopon town to unlock this mission, as the archeology guy has quests of his own too. maybe you need to complete his first.
That may be why Schezo92 didn't find that quest, even being Lv93.

About one of my questions few page back, I've read on another website that I can choose either the poisoned knife, either the shield, in both case I should have a new mission later to fix Emmy leater problem. (and she will give a Level X skillbook).
I think giving the poisoned knife is a better choice now. Her friends are less affected in the relationship graphic as she won the fight, and she can be found in tephra cave (or the Mine?) later, as she left the Colony9.
The colonel may even give a mission to fix the situation.
I'm not sure about the best choice regarding the relationship with all the citizen when choosing the shield, so I think I'll go with the knife.

I still don't know the best choice for the fighting brothers.
Do any of you know the outcome of both choices?
If I let the nopon win and leaving the city, he may die... (will it?), but they seems happy in the relationship graph.
If I don't, they are not happy...

Everytime I got a mission with different choices I dont know what to do. I just left the mission undone until a guide or faq is completed.

So I just beat the game though overlevelled at level 96. You can beat the boss well below that, if i had to guesstimate high 70s.

I've run into a problem though, every time I try to start new game+ on wiiflow, the wii restarts. If anyone finds out how to fix this I'd like to know.

Other than that I've still yet to beat any lvl 100+ monsters

endgame spoilers
I've only gotten 3 out of 5 of Shulk's Optional Monado Replica Prototypes

And I have a bunch of quests to do like
rebuilding Colony 6
and a bunch of stuff like that.

Though I really want to start a new game + for more affinity coins, and that overpowered weapon they give you. As well as curbstomping ever hopeless boss fight this game gives you. xD

If I do a newgame+ I may play it in English this time
tongue.gif

I like french version (this is rare in RPG), but there are a lot of invented sentences.

Like "Arigatou, Shulk".
became in french : "You shouldn't have bother to do all of this. Thanks"
rolleyes.gif

It fit the flow of the conversation, but when you understand the Dub, it become very weird to read something else. (even english dub doesn't match french sub).
Hopefully, I take the dub in account for the emotion when the members are talking.

Also I found 1 translation error (typo). "an" instead of "au" in a mission title. I think they used the english translation to do the french one, the mission should have started with "an".

The boss? You might wanna tell us your set up. Though he is a mechon so if that's your problem. I was only under the bosses level and fought him without Shulk. Though I used the Dunban force Daze into chain link strategy. I don't remember him using an aura so you probably don't need Purge.

About the temple it's in Makna forest to on the way to the Mountains. The archaeologist Lupa is at the second level of the Archaeology level which is 5th floor i believe. She only shows up at night. I set the clock at 21 and she's there if that helps.

About the Collectionpedia, it's not really needed for a quest though you get nice rewards for completing rows and a nicer reward for getting the whole area, its usually gems good for the current area you're in so the mountains should give you around IV gems.

Depends if you want to Air, personally I'd only stick around for the level 100+ bosses/ unique monsters.

and pinkeye,
yeah he counts as a mechon either topple him or daze him or whatever, or use the monado
also that sentence is pretty spoiler ish so i dunno edit it to hide it.

as for the collectionpedia yeah it takes it out of your bag. Some of the items are rare so you might wanna keep them. On the other hand the rewards can help sometimes.
Though I didnt really pay atttention to the gem crafting/slotting till near the end so you might not need it.
