If you use Swiss' prepatcher, you can only use the .iso for Swiss and nothing else.

So what is "Swiss" because I was told that I had to "patch" my .iso's before I could burn them, does this mean there is no way NeoGamma will load these ISO's and if so, what should I patch with to be able to play them on the Wii.

QUOTE(WiiPower @ Sep 1 2011, 08:23 AM) And create multi game discs, saves a lot of discs.

I have 2 50x spindles and would rather the games on individual discs haha.

I just softmodded my wii using ModMii, and now I'm trying to use NeoGamma to play GC backups. I've tried two multi game discs(1 dvd9 and 1 dvd5) using multigame iso creator 3.5.4f+, and neither seems to work. When I load the disc in NeoGamma, it sees the games but when I load any of them the Wii just resets itself.

Read the mini FAQ. And i recommend to not use dual layer discs, if they work at all, which i doubt.

Found out that I didn't have cIOS 249 installed, installed it and everything works perfectly. Thanks a lot for the replies though!

Doesn't make sense. Without a cIOS, you won't get into NeoGamma's GC loader, but that's where you were. And once you are in the GC loader, the cIOS does not matter at all. And there's no such thing as a cIOS 249!

I read the faq when I followed the instructions to install NeoGamma. I tried burning a single game to a dvd-r, still the same thing. I know ModMii installed the necessary files when I softmodded my system, but are they the exact versions of the cios and cmios needed for NeoGamma to work correctly?

If Neogamma doesn't display what you have installed to slot 249, and you don't know, you could always get the installers for the cIOS and cMIOS and reinstall them, that way you know exactly what is installed.

Hey I was wondering, is there a way to download a PAL game and then before burning it, turning it into a NTSC game ? Is there such a software to do this ?

That's a topic that doesn't belong in this thread, sorry. Most likely there is such software, but it wouldn't change anything when running the game via NeoGamma -> make a thread and/or search.

At the bottom of the screen it says: NeoGamma R9 b50, d2x56v6 (249)

I'm gonna try reinstalling the cMIOS and see if that helps.

Update: That did the trick, all the disc are working now, even the dual layer.

No matter how I start a burned GC game, my wii just resets. I kept the Neogamma options to it's default settings. Anything I would have to change?...

They do work Wiipower. All my GC backups are burned in Dual Layer discs. People need to set the booktype to DVD-r in their Dvd Software burning options.

I wasn't referring to that, it's obvious that you need to set DVD+DL to something with "-". I meant that the code in NeoGamma that handles dual layer discs looks very suspicious. The games on the 1st layer should work anyways, the games on the 2nd layer could be problematic. Well, if you say it works, i guess you tried all games on a full dual layer disc.

Anyways, i still recommend everybody to use single layer discs, because the drive has less trouble reading them, thus increasing the lifetime of the laser.

1. Now I understand you. You explained more detailed your point.

2. Yes, I did and I never had any problem at all with any game.

3. Will take that recommendation for future burns.

Something that I always wondered Wiipower. Is there a way to fix games that does not display anything if Progressive cables are used.

For example I own Megaman X Collection and works fine and when I burn it goes black and you know the rest.

Use the latest NeoGamma and install d2x v6 with base IOS56 as IOS249. That just fix MK. If that doesn't fix your HDD problem, i can't help you.
