Could you make The Fantastic Adventure Of Dizzy and Micro Machines working well on SP-Peframe or SP-Pertile? Pure soft mode has good graphic, but it is working bad :/

You could also support Magic Jewelry 2

And this is all I want , not so much to do

Hello Huminghao!

For next update, it would be awesome to display the extra NES resolution at the bottom screen. This way, no pixels would be hidden.

But without a distracting alternating flicker method. You mentioned it was hard, but if you are able to do it, it would be the perfect emulator. It would be ideal if it would be possible to choose between the bottom or top pixels, to display on the bottom screen. And to be able to scroll it.

thanks for all your awesome work!!

Also,
1. the fire emblem games have garbled images in all except pure-soft.
2. In Crystalis, the screen flickers when text boxes show up.
3. Many games still show the characters one pixel above what they are supposed to be.
4. Pure-soft could be faster

just some suggestions :-)

The SNEmulDS svn is an older version of it compared to the latest available one (0.6WIP or something) so if anything is done, it's going to be starting from whatever version is in the svn (I can't remember what version it is at the moment).

I agree with this idea, Or at least that the changes made in the manual scaling screen can be recorded, each time that i play need reajust the scale, I like to play at scale 1:1 looks perfect!

Just started Mega Man 2 on 0.55a just now, and suddenly it sounds rather... blown out. This never happened before in any of the prior releases of nesDS. If it helps any, I am also playing on a Supercard DStwo.

Hmm...here's something I noticed....if you have a lot of NES ROMs in a folder (mine has 34MB worth...about 85 games), and you try to have nesDS.nds in that same folder, it will cause the games to display this black line that takes up 1/3 of the screen which quickly scrolls downward about every 20 seconds or so (may depend on which game was being played, I'm not sure. I was playing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and using "pure-soft" when I noticed it). But when I took the nesDS.nds out of that folder and put it anywhere else, that problem instantly disappeared.

In other words, don't put the nesDS.nds in the same folder as the NES ROMs.

Just thought I'd mention that for anyone else who may have experienced that issue.

Could you add support for playing NSF files? I know you can do it in MoonShell, but MoonShell doesn't like the FDS chip..

Also, for me, It freezes when I save state, so I can't save

My old save states no longer work on the new release.
Is this an usual problem?

Edit: Also on games like Zelda, how do I get the emulator to save to the .sav so I don't have to only use the save states?

I have an acekard 2i with the latest version.

Well, it's official.

On my 3DS, using Supercard DStwo, nesDS 0.55a has ruined the audio on at least the few games that I've tested.

Mega Man 2, and later M.U.L.E., both sound horrible, akin to what it sounds like when someone shorts out their speakers. I know this problem didn't happen before in 0.54a.

Looks like I will be rolling back on this one.

e...
I found nesDS run out of memory in version 0.54a and 0.55a, just because the MAX_ROM_SIZE was set to 3MByte(too large).
I did not notice that because that used to work fine. I fixed it and it is available on svn.
Rom files larger than 2.75MB could not work well, such as mapper255(110-in-1, 115-in-1).
This bug would cause a lot of problems...
Thanks for all your info.

Pretty good update, DBZ Gaiden is now working for me too.
Also, why don't you make a version for the SuperCard DSTwo?
Would be even better with the DSTwo's CPU.

Thanks for the new release! Street Fighter IV is working great! And it's a quite interesting game, on its own way.
By the way, a pirate NES port of Zelda Link to the past has been dumped recently, I've read some comments about it being quite decent, for what it is. Apparently, it uses a unsupported mapper by NesDS.

And yes, the sound is a bit blown up in 0.55a, you can notice it in a few games, specially while playing Blade
Buster. I'm also using a DSTwo with the latest BAGPlug.

Could it be a DSTwo thing or people with other flashcards are experiencing it too? I'm gonna have to search for my Ak2i to try it out.
