O - MY - GOD! This game is.... HORRIBLE!!!!

I really hated my NDS for the two minutes I played it. It felt like a bulky piece of junk with a crappy software line up.
So I quickly turned it off, wiped it off my cart and continued playing Mario & Luigi. *sigh* The good feeling returned.
You see, that's the fucked up thing with these Flash Cards, you play everything, also the crap and then it just doesn't feel good...you would never ever buy this stuff, you would read about it and avoid it like the plague.

I used to play every GBC game that came out, just to try them but every crap cash in and THQ game kinda warped me and made me bitter, I only play things that look interesting now.

Is it me or is a bad 3D game worse than a bad 2D one?

You're absolutely right, firstly about protecting yourself by not playing horse shit. Secondly, I very agree with you about those 3D games. It is maybe very dull playing a bad 2d game, but actually I always can appreciate some scenery parts or sprites that are worthy looking at (I'm a graphic designer so I am all about the visuals in games). But badly made 3D is sooooo painful. The flickery, very undetailed characters that move clumsily over the screen, and unbelievably blocky backdrops, that you have to squeeze your eye lids just to get the illusion of a "room" or something.

the GBA version really wasn't bad at all (but we should have gotten more game)

i wish ds releases had an ingame shot so I had an instant idea what they were like. Not that I have a DS anyway. I really think you're being way to critical of something you're stealing anyway.

I really think it doesn't matter if I'm stealing or not when it comes to criticism. This is a community that is all ABOUT rom releases, without actually doing something illegal. So to people who intend to buy such crappy games it might be useful to read some warnings about it. I think many people use the forum like this. One of the most posted comments is: "is this any good?"
Okay, the fact that I wiped it off my FLASHCARD right after playing is not very relevant I think

After 60 seconds of gameplay
I immediately link this game with the world's first 1.0 score game rated by GameSpy.

We're critical because some developer made a terrible game and the publisher wants to charge people money for it, we have every right to moan and warn those off these gamea. Though most who download ROMs will never buy the actual game, some of us only do so just to try and see if its worth our hard earned cash maybe Nintendo could put free demos up of games on their sites for us people who are only trying.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates

    Sorry didnt read that part
