Hacking Just want opinion for those that uses PSP GO

I currently use 6.20 PRO B for my PSP-GO but was wondering what you use and/or what do you recommend personally (with a why preferbably).

I kind of want to update to 6.39 Neuron on the GO, but I have trouble oading PS1 games even with POPS and BRIGE or after they embeded. But I also want FuSA but never really used FuSa before so not sure if it's worth it enough going to 6.39...which I assume isn't perma on the Go.

This is just general PSP stuff, so:

- popsloader works just as well on 6.20 PRO-B8 as it does on 6.35 PRO-B8 or 6.39 PRO-B8
It's just a matter of enabling it with the correct pack (it has to be a 6.xx pack), and since you have a Go, you'll experience errors with nearly all lower versions of popsloader. Any popsloader that has been supported on the Go (any 5.70 and forward) will work perfectly though (if I'm not mistaken).

- PRO is easily the most stable, user friendly, and enabled CFW to date. Stick with it.

For FuSa, I dunno. I'll Google that up if somebody else doesn't answer first. I would imagine that if it works on 6.39 though, it would certainly also work on 6.20.

Edit: k, I see. I don't think FuSa alone is worth changing CFW. It isn't exactly a perfect system.

some old POPS (3.02-3.52) work with the GO too, but there's no sound unless you plug in headphones

Eh, I recently made the switch to Neuron's ME firmware on my PSP Go. I was curious if it would preform any better than the PRO firmwares. There's not much of a difference between PRO and ME, though. Both share similar features and the only feature missing from ME is the Inferno driver. I use Sony's NP9660 on ME and it seems to work just as well. ME also seems to feel a bit more responsive, but that could just be me.

Perma patch isn't a deal breaker for me. I never turn my PSP off, and the 5 second wait to load the LCFW doesn't bother me at all. The fact that my PSP won't brick if I install a faulty plugin on my internal memory is the reason I stay away from the permanent patches on my PSP Go.

I use PRO B8 + Perma patch on my Go, don't see why I should update to a new CFW that has nothing I want.

Don't install old outdated plugins then.

I only use one plugin and that's for screenshots.

I dualboot TN-E and PRO B-8(temp) on my PSPGo. (Triboot if you count ofw lol)
Everything works well on those lcfw/hen, wasnt bothered with the perma patch, i could 'waste' like 10 or so to load the hen/lcfw eboot.....
Though i was tempted to update to 6.39 when ME lcfw came out for the PSPGo, because imo most 6.xx plugins work best on ME (especially games categories light for 6.3x), probably because Neur0n updates quite a few 5.xx plugins to 6.xx. Though i didnt in the end. I will use ME though should a 6.20 version be released......
Though i do use ME cfw on my psp 1000, everything works well, very stable, works with most iso, have its own ME driver..

All in all i think PRO/ME/TN are great each have there own advantages, though if want popsloader support, should use ME/PRO, ISO support should use PRO/ME although compatability is like the same for both.....

PRO is superior becasue it has the inferno drive. It has better game compatability. Or else both would pretty much be the same yes.

FuSa only works on the PSP 2000 series. The 3000 and Go have different video out hardware (they can play games on composite) and therefore aren't supported.

Hm, considering a main reason people use FuSa is to get games on composite, is that a reason to choose a 3K over a 2K now?

Firstly, the GO is great for piracy. Just putting it out there.

Secondly, the GO is not uncomfortable to hold, the buttons are not in an awkward position, the screen is not small, and the sliding hinges are not weak (I know you already have one, but I'm putting it out there for those that don't)

Thirdly, I use PRO-B4 (I think? I haven't updated it in a long while so it's probably not the latest), which is pretty user friendly and great overall.
