Can't you guys see this is a "TROLL" thread? I thought you guys were smarter than that.

It's not a troll thread, I'm actually asking advice.

I have decided that I WILL trade my dogs in, as I already have a real-life dog anyway, and any time spent with my pretend dogs is time not spent with a real, loving, caring animal.

Mods, close this thread please!

I would keep it simply because you should build up a library. There are street pass features to keep around and feeding them is a few clicks. It will serve as a good supplement to Zelda, which you'll probably blast through in a few days if you've played it before.

There's the thing: I haven't played it before so that's why I plan to enjoy it (plus master quest don't forget) this time around. And in response to Nollog, I am getting bored with it anyway, so I will kill them off before I trade it in.

Realize that your "puppies" are just a collection of 1's and 0's developed by some nerdy japanese guy to manipulate your emotions...

Once you have that down, you'll have a much harder time enjoying your pet and thus your trading them in will be even easier.

lol you say that

what about the guy that married his Love Plus GF hmmm

If you have the money for Ocarina then get it, the puppy game has no baring on it. You seem to be more or less perhaps not aware of it yet(or in denial?) that you're getting sick of the game and need an excuse to get rid of it. You said you wouldn't give it fair time with Zelda being around, so the question is if it's still worth coming back to or not. If it is, put it on the shelf, if it's not, put it up on craigslist or ebay and get some good money back on your investment while it still holds good value.

Ok here's the situation NOW:
I have traded in Nintendogs. Some wonderful deal at EB actually allowed me to get $60 back on it. So now I have paid off OoT using that cash, and since I had $10 on it to start with, I got $2 (YAY! I'M RICH!) back on it. So it was a win-win situation!

On a side note, does any of you other Australians find it weird that the Collector's Edition Pack (with the free ocarina) is actually cheaper than the standalone game? I do. $68 for a game plus an ocarina and sheet music, as compared to $69.99 for a standalone game? I know what option I'm taking...
