Gaming Parasite Eve Disc Changing

Hey, i have a problem with Parasite Eve ( Dunno if you guys might know about it, possibly just retro gamers like i am ).

I have 5.50 GEN-D3 Custom firmware on my PSP Slim with the latest popsloader 4, the game is working fine but there's a point in the game where you have to change the disc in the middle of the game, and you don't have the possibility to save there, load the second game file and load your save.

There should be a disc change option in the home menu (as far as i read) but there's non, even when i tried running it with different popsloaders. Can someone help me with this? I really wanna play through this game

You probably don't have a multi disc eboot.

To save space.

How much MB is the eboot? You can probably tell by the size.

CD1 321 megas CD2 323 megas BUt if you can't change the discs there's no point in playing it, sure it'll save space but...i don't get it

Oh so you do have a different eboot for the other disc?

Fire up PSX2PSP
Extract the image out of CD1 & 2 eboot
Throw it together with the same ID & save ID
Continue.

The person who made the eboots probably didn't know there was no save before the swap

You mean merging the files in PSX2PSP? I have the app but never really tried that, could you give me a tutorial or something? Would be really cool.

Just download it as a single eboot file. That's what I did.

It's pretty simple.

On this screen, on ISO/PBP file, select the eboots and press extract ISO
Take note of the Game ID/Title and Save ID/Title, you'll be needing to enter it when making a new eboot.

Then follow this guide

I found one at psxpsp or what was the site buuuuut it didn't work for me. The psp suddenly turns off after the sony logo

@Prowler: Thanks dude, ALTHOUGH i tried to merge them but never really successed in it because when i click on the dropdown menu, ican't click the SEcond, third and so on bins to browse em in, only one... i have 1.4.2

before the multi-disc popsloader (3.71) came out, I remember a special build of Parasite Eve was available.
or you can build it yourself with psychospacefish FIX.

To make your multi disc eboot, you can also use the older RS-GUI poptsationMD 3.0
