anyway, They messed it up, by excluding some of the main straw hats, as playable characters, along with getting rid of other important characters too. some support attacks seem useless too. although, they said this is just part 1 of 2 in project jet IIRC, so i hope the 2nd game is like this, but includes everything before the time skip, along with characters that should have been playable and online wi-fi.

i can confirm that this German version does NOT have english in it.

I don't understand NoA. They don't seem to know what American gamers want in the least. It is assumed that they know best, when really, all they do is deny more sales. They should really listen to their customer base.

I'll give this game a go when it hits Europe I guess. I'm always willing to try a new fighter, as long as it's good.

@ The guys blaming NoA for the lack of a US release - you should be blaming NamcoBandai.
@ The people wondering why One Piece is not popular in English speaking territories - thank 4Kids Entertainment.
@ People generally complaining about the fact the English rom will most likely be the last to be dumped - deal with it.
@ People who've never read/watched One Piece before - this game is well worth a play regardless of that fact. I have no interest in One Piece (and, therefore, have no idea who half the characters are); but this game is fun,especially if you like Jump Ultimate Stars. Hell, it basically -is- Jump Ultimate Stars, but only using One Piece characters.

Not exactly. For one, the game is not made by them, it's simply published by them. Second, it's 75% NoA's decision to bring it over.

God, I wish I wasn't so freaking impatient. Even though I have other games to play, I've been waiting a while for this one. I hope that the opening for the German one isn't in the English version (Even though I'm 90% sure it is).

They use a shitty generic song that isn't even from the show. You'll be underwhelmed for sure, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't ruin the game or anything. We Are can probably be hacked back in anyway.
