Alright, just tried running the Wood Dumper r72. Here's what is says:

"Set a Target card.
OK
Reading header...
card id: 0x7f7f7f7f
Header readed...
Reading secure area..."

That's it. It's been stuck on that now.

It kinda of seems like this cart just throws the DS into a service mode or something.

Some cards only get recognized by the dumpers if you dump another game first.
Dump a random game and after this try to dump the EVA card. No reboot after dumping first game.

No need, if you read the latest update, you'll see what I mean.

Explain?

I was unable to dump one of the carts I was working with last night ( which is the 2008 revision Nitro EVA ).

Today though, I was able to dump the 2004 Nitro EVA.

In other words, we have ourselves a winner.

Currently, I am able to extract the 2004 EVA and the "Flicker" test ( this one shows up as being exactly the same as the 2004 EVA, as I figured it would )

Yes, and they run straight off the flash cart with no problem as I can tell.

I loaded it up and it auto starts the testing program. I will do a video to show how to access the menu and make the program not auto start each time.
