Nintendo has announced that it’s partnering up with Fuji Television and Nippon Television to bring full 3D television shows to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan. This new service which is called ”Itsu no Ma ni Terebi” and will go live tomorrow. The service uses SpotPass to automatically download new 3D television content to your Nintendo 3DS. Although the content is free, it does comes with advertisements. By keeping your 3DS system’s Spot Pass feature turned on, you’ll get daily updates from the Spot TV service. Who’s hoping Nintendo will provide something similar here in the West?[/p]

I thought the UK was getting Sky service and BBCi? I mean, there are still some features that Nintendo announced (like Netflix) that haven't been released yet - I wouldn't be surprised if we got something similar to this.

It should be coming in the near future. That's what one of the GAME sales guy said.

We'll be getting Sky Player, BBC, etc...

Aside from ESPN 3D what other channels/shows (in America) are in 3D? I don't see this type of service (for tv shows) making its way to other countries until other countries start offering more television shows in 3D, its no surprise that Japan has more shows in 3D, they're always leading the way with that kind of stuff. Still when do we get 3D movies on our 3DS? thats what i'm interested in.
