I was a huge fan of Wild World, not so big fan Of City Folk. This looks like its bringing something fresh to the table.

You know, if this was supported with regular DLC like DOA Dimensions is, this could be EPIC. Most of us who play Animal Crossing log in every day for a while but after a few months it starts to lose its appeal. If there was always something new to look forward to, even if its just a random item, then we'd keep playing this for years.

Hardly. They've added so many things it's not even funny.

That's really ironic, considering that Animal Crossing : Let's Go to the City HAS DLC. Every single week, a new item or even character (I think) would be sent to your save file.

You are a moron (As if we didn't know before).

Tents returning from the GCN version (Hopefully with more of a purpose than the summer camper things), improved town aesthetics (Lamp posts that look especially awesome in the winter, flower bushes, etc.), SWIMMING, and I'm sure much more.

I'm hoping for more multiplayer functions, like voice chat (Text chat is fine, but voice chat would be so nice), more players in one town (Maybe 6?), actual fishing/bug tournaments, etc.

All the 3DS stuff I've seen today is looking amazing, and I'm definitely excited for most of it, especially this and Luigi's Mansion 2 though.

You don't need to call him an idiot. I mean, he is wrong, but you don't have to insult him.

It's not just because of that post, but EVERY post he makes. All of his posts contain some kind of stupid, rash statement that either makes him look like a fanboy, hater, or misinformed flamer.

Really Nintendo? The same furniture? That is a major turn off. But still doesn't put me off from buying a 3DS and this game. Winter looks so pretty on it! Got to start saving up now. Anybody know of a release date?

Yeah, this game? this is the sequel to animal crossing. The games before never improved anything, just like Pokemon--they felt more like expansions than the actual next-game.

Took forever man.

SWIMMING!

Ahem, sorry. As of now, the games mentioned in E3 besides Skyward Sword and Kid Icarus have no set release dates. Sorry!

Hmm, most likely next year I'm thinking. But it would be awesome if it came out in Fall this year like City Folk back in 2008.

There might be new features, content (and furniture) in the game that wasn't shown in the trailer. We can't judge a game based on what we see in a trailer that's only a few minutes long.

That said, I'm pretty excited about this. Played and enjoyed Wild Word a lot, only problem was I started the game years after it was released, so there wasn't an active online userbase. Hope I can play this online before people get bored of it. >:

Yeah, but the online community for City Folk/Let's Go to the City is still surprisingly strong.

Hopefully the same will be true for this game! I wonder what the main "theme" will be. And a confirmed title would be great.
