It won't fail. Nintendo has a ton of fanboys and some 'popular' first party titles like pokemon or zelda. Definitely it will still sell well even after the NGP is out.ChaosZero816 said:Foxi4 said:If you really want to discuss how much "power" the NGP has, just lift it up when you can finally buy one and scream "I HAVE THE POWER!".
If you will not turn into He-Man while holding this Quad-Core beast with a Quad-Core GPU that runs pretty much anything ever made for consoles (downscaled, of course, because you DON'T need massive HD graphics on a handheld - it's a matter of saving space and removing/reducing files that you won't be able to gaze upon anyways on a small screen. Smaller filesize - cheaper flash units to store it) at lighting speed despite the fact it fits in your pocket, then something is wrong with the universe.
The moment this happens, Nintendo is screwed. NGP owners would pawn all 3DS/Nintendo console owners.

Casual players like me will buy both depending on the reviews on the consoles and the upcoming games. (please do not say that I'm a pathetic ninty fanboy just because of my avatar).

If the 3DS overpowers the PS2, I'm pretty sure the NGP will as well.
But 3DS isn't more powerful than PS2.

No, the 3DS beats the PS2. And it pretty much does depend on power, DS just didn't have enough.NES SNES V.B. N64 G.C. It is slightly less powerful than the PS2.
Also, just because something has more power doesn't mean it can emulate it. The DS has more power than the GBA, but it can't run GBA roms.
I can't say for the cpu but for the graphics, I disagree.Sop said:No, the 3DS beats the PS2. And it pretty much does depend on power, DS just didn't have enough.
Snailface said:The PSP can emulate some N64 games pretty well and has a slow but functioning DS emulator (which is mighty impressive). Given that the Vita is orders of magnitude more powerful than the PSP, I have a hunch it could do justice for DS emulation . That's assuming the platform is ever homebrewed, of course.
Tilt it to the right, right analog works like left arrows, right buttons are right buttons, read touchpad = L1 and R1 buttons somehow.chris888222 said:I wonder how for DS emulation. It is possible, but how? Dual screen...
Unless you hold it portrait...?
