Thanks for the help marc_max, but I'm still not having any luck.

Here's what I've got:
trying to do super mario 2 (fbye)
so, I get fbye.txt, which I edit to look like this:
____________
FBYE01
Super Mario Bros. 2

Infinite Lives
* 003F0EED 00000064

Infinite Health
* 003FBF96 0000002C
______________

I open up this file in cheat code manager, select infinite lives, and export the gct, creating fbye01.gct
I rename this file to fbye.gct, and put it onto my sd at /config/mighty/cheats (mighty channels is ran from my sd card, the directory sd:/config/mighty existed, but I had to make the cheats directory).

I start up mighty channels, go to super mario bros 2, press 1, select "ocarina from sd", while leaving "no debugger" and "no ocarian &debugger" at default.

I start up the game, and see no confirmation that cheat codes are loaded (is there some kind of confirmation?) and when I die, my lives go down.

Do you have any other advice? Thanks a ton for the help so far.
The file should be uppercase (except the extension): FBYE.gct
I haven't touched the original Triiforce code for Ocarina cheats (I never tried them, but they should work). I remember that the original authors said sometime ago that it's recommended to load codes from SD if you are playing from USB and viceversa, trying to load codes from the same device you are using to load games could fail or something like that. So if you are playing from SD you can try to load codes from usb:/config/mighty/cheats/, any small FAT32 pendrive should work.
You can also try to load codes with Triiforce. It it works then something is wrong with MC.

Is it possible to do the following:

When quitting a game instead of returning to the Wii menu re-load Migthy Channels instead?

I can do that on configurable usbloader and would love to see it implemented here.

I finally got Mighty Channels (v11.1) to work! WooT! However I can’t seem to get the forward(ers) to work (I tried both). Might Channels loads fine from The Homebrew Channel, but when I try and load it using the forwarder, it tells me “Error: I can’t get title list ret = -1”. My setup is pretty standard. Using:

cIOS249[56]-v21d2x3 as my base.

SD:\apps\mighty_channels

HD is setup as partition 1 is FAT32 and is set to active and partition 2 is WBFS.

So as far as I can tell all is good, but for some reason the forwarder just doesn’t want to work. Anyone have any suggestions?
Regards.

Could you please post your meta.xml?

The forwarder can't parse meta.xml comments, that should be the problem. Try to remove these strings completely, then it should work.

So, I've just recently attempted to setup a NAND emulation for use with Mighty Channels (after discovering Triiforce was now obsolete) and I've been running into nothing but problems.
Firstly, I could not get it to load my HDD with the latest cios rev (d2x 21 v3 I believe). I merely recieved errors of being unable to access the list of titles on the HDD, therefore I've downgraded one of my cIOS to rev17 and now I can atleast load my list of titles. The next problem I have however, is that a majority of the titles I try to load bring me nothing but black screens. I understand that many titles require a preloaded save in order to work properly, and I have BlueDump in order to put these saves on my nand, however I just want to know if this is a common problem amongst wiiware titles. I've heard it was only evident in a few games and yet it seems I can only run Contra Rebirth and Mario Party 2 without any issues. I'd love to just do a complete dump of my own nand to get all of my saves at once, however I constantly run into an error during a later portion of my NAND dump and I can never finish the process.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.

I try setting up Mighty Channel v11.1 on a friends Wii using d2x21[38]/[57]/[56] & every so often i get -Error: I can’t get title list ret = -3. This is solved by reinstalling one of the above IOS however this is rather bothersome at times. Also I have a Ninja Gaiden game I believe it to be the 2nd one because in Mighty Channel it pops up as Ninja Gaiden B however after playing this game I need to install one of those IOS again as well. It seems to do a savestate when i play the game again at this point cause whereever I exited out of the game it puts me back at that same spot.

I've tried using Sneek and I haven't managed to get far with it. Whenever I tried to load it up from my hard drive, the wii disc light would blink a few times and then stay lit. Screen remained black for about 15 - 20 mins, at which point I gave up. Not sure if it even properly managed to switch to Uneek because I had to enter the switch program multiple times before it would even recognize my HDD. I figured since channel space was the only thing I wanted to use it for, that this would provide an alternative with less hassle.

You will need a NAND fulldump. SNEEK doesn't work on every wii, maybe this is the problem. You should install SNEEK with modmii, maybe you will have luck and then it works. I personally gave up and I'm now loading with the sd card menu.

Hi All!
First of all Marc thanks for your great application. I love its GUI

I'd like to use MC on sneek to pass the 48 channels limit + achieve even better compatibility. It works yet it starts with the nand selection screen (real, sd,usb) and the bottom of the TV screen gets garbled (the same thing with Triiforce). I tried to fix it setting auto=real and iso=61 or iso=58 in the meta.xml without much success.

I checked the source (mighty_channels.c) and it seems to me that when real nand is picked its ios is by default set to 249. I wanted to change it to 61. Unfortunately, I cannot compile the source with my changes because of linking errors. I have no idea how to fix them. So I was wondering if somebody had a similar idea as me and perhaps some more luck

I'd be happy to hear from you.

Hi ! New here. I'm very interested in using Mighty Channels, looks like a neat piece of software.
Anyway, is there an alternative download source for it, as MegaUpload does not work in Hong Kong where I presently live :
it gives me a "This service is temporarily not available from your service area.", not only for Mighty Channels but for any file,
whereas all the other usual file sharing services do work...
Thanks.

Everything seems correct.
Did you try using slot 249?
Which is the version of the cios in slot 250?
You can see it with syscheck.
I tried using slot 249 today - no change. Still the sam system dump after it says loading USB NAND: Tried with cIOSX rev21 d2x v3 using 56 a base, previously tried with base 57 also (but in slot 250).

edit: Well, I'll be damned, now it fails on the sd card to with the same codedump. Will have to reextract the nand from bootmi backup again.
edit2: extracted nand dump again, repartitioned and formatted the sd card in case that was the problem, but still get code dump. Even tried with a *neek nand made by ModMii - still code dump screen. Don't really see what I could be doing wrong here.

I'd be happy to hear from you.

how about taking a wad of ios 61 and changing its slot to 249? since its on your virtual nand you would'nt risk major damage. that seems like the easiest solution to me.
