Looks good to me.

Although in the next few pages, you'll read that it is perfectly possible to display a full screen image in the photo channel without the 3D logo or light. Also, that isn't a real log screen. Have a look through your 3DS, you wont find that screen, its a fake one.

Here is my version of the above image...

well, the bottom of it certainly looks like the Log of the 3ds, but the top clearly says hello world... So Mabey, but it would be hella fast then. More importantly, how did they get the message up there? (possible first 3ds flasher?)

I say fake!

Also, the 3D isn't available, so couldn't this just be something written for DS on a flashcart?

Interesting.
I agree it would be nice to see the bottom screen as well.
It would be easy enough to make a jpg that was black with "Hello, world!" in the top corner and display it in the photo viewer, but the activity log one I can't figure out.

But in all fairness if you look closer the 3D slider is down, but you have a valid point.

Same concept, have an image of an altered activity log. I call fake for now.

even if it's on a DS flashcart, it appears to be in 3DS mode since it's in full 3DS resolution.

You're right.
I was thinking that the 3D light being on meant that it wasn't a 2D jpg but I just checked my own 3DS and the 3D light stays on when viewing 2D photos even with the slider all the way down.
Now that I realise that it makes me think that isn't how the first one was done since the 3D light is not lit on that one.

I can't think of how you'd get a 3DS to display "Hello, world!" like that with the 3D light not lit. If it was DS mode homebrew the text couldn't be right at the edge like that because of the black vertical bars.

These were my thoughts as well. but what game log activity would a flash cart show up as if it was played on a 3DS?

Flash carts show up as whatever game they pretend to be. In the case of the DSTWO it's Alex Rider.

The Activity Log picture could definitely be faked by viewing a modified photo of the activity log screen.

What we need to do is work out how the "Hello, world!" one could be faked.

I thought you could make DS game stretch to fit the screen?
