In the case of Pilotwings resort, the save data appears to be attached to the Mii itself.Rydian said:The saves are stored in a different location depending on who you ask.WiiBricker said:Wait, we can extract 3DS saves off a 3DS cart? I thought 3DS saves are stored in the NAND?
bit of chicken and egg, that - people say there is no need for emus because there are no roms, and people say there is no need for roms because nothing can be done with them.Tanveer said:I havent heard of it yet. But I think it should be possible.
What would you want to do with the rom anyway? Cant really do much at the moment.

I could've sworn that's been attempted and it didn't pull out a rom.
With the adapter you can extract saves from 3DS carts.Tanveer said:QUOTE(WiiBricker @ Mar 27 2011, 06:04 PM) Wait, we can extract 3DS saves off a 3DS cart? I thought 3DS saves are stored in the NAND?
Not all carts worked so far aparently and they are updating to make it work with all game carts.

The saves are stored in the cart n_n. Extra data is stored in the 3DS.

Monkey Ball 3D- 256MB
Ghost Recon- 256MB
LSW3- 512MB
Looks like none of these have come close to the maximum cartridge limit (2GB). Wonder if any of the launch titles use the full allotted 2GB that is available.
Dunno about knowing in two weeks. They're only dumping EU games and it's not coming out in Europe for a while. Unless you're getting the Japanese version and meant you'll find out about the audio.djricekcn said:granville said:So it's like-

I'm going to assume Tales of the Abyss is the first rom to go over 1gb, at least, I hope it goes up at least 1gb...I think PS2 one was 3.75gb? I hope they didn't compress the audio. I'll know in 2 weeks I guess
