Yes and replace it inside SD:\apps\usb-loader
You can also update it from CFG directly (press 1 twice)

* GUI menu
So here it is finally. An attempt of a GUI thingie. Most of you have probably already seen it (EE).
There's still a lot to do before it's complete, like making it translatable and themable...
Let me know what you think, opinions, ideas, anything...
Ikeiratama said:Hi Dr.Clipperand Oggzee, and friends fron this forum:
First of all, congratulations for this marvellous work!!!
Still, I have not tried the version 68 ... I will wait a bit.
I would like to suggest an improvement in the option "music = ".
Actually it is in the Global Options (config.txt), and it isn´t in the Theme Options (theme.txt)...
This is a problem when I change the theme and I want that another music sounds for this theme...
For the present, to do it there are 2 ways:
1st way To change "Music = route of the music we want to be played "' in the config.txt. So, It is necessary to edit this file whenever let's want to change to another music in concretly.
2nd way To place the new song in the route where CFG looks for the music. So, it is necessary to write/move the new song on the SD/HD...
My idea, (the most simple way to do this, I think...), is that it was possible to place music = in the file theme.txt. This way, whenever we change the theme, if the theme has it´s own music and and has it´s line "music = " with the route of it´s music, it´s music would sound automatically on having changed the theme.
With one click we change the images and the sound, it´s fantastic, isn´t it?
(I do not speak English ... I hope that I have explained it clearly...)
An example:
Theme: CSSv1
Music: CS_CZ.mp3
theme.txt would have the line music = sd:/usb-loader/themes/CounterSSv1/CS_CZ.mp3
The creators of themes might include music, and in the file theme.txt would include the line music = "folder of the theme where the music is"
Regards

Thanks to all the team for this GREAT software!!!
My cache folder was automatically created in the folder defined in covers_path. First time it takes a while to build the whole cache, but after building it, it's really faster to go through the covers.Ikeiratama said:One question... if I have the covers in another directory (not in the default one)... where must be the cache folder?? Now, it seems to load slowly the covers...
My SD is like this:
SD:/images/3D
SD:/images/2D
SD:/images/full
SD:/images/disc

Maybe a lot of options for themes. For example: custom button size, custom background images for buttons (separated parts for each buttons: left side, center, right side), editable button position, opacity.oggzee said:Let me know what you think, opinions, ideas, anything...

Is this normal or did I do something wrong?
EDIT: After using the ALT dol method to watch that Motion Plus movie, the game boots and seems to play fine. Just worried that those errors might come back to haunt me.
Cheers, and thanks in advance.
We already detected the need for the GUI Menu to be child locked and it will be doable via option sometime soon. You are already able to disable all the other Wiimote buttons using the button options. E.g., "button_1=nothing".chop said:v68 is nice, but theres far to many thing that my kids can mess around with.
In fact, I'd like a mode where the only buttons that can be used are A and B
A to select a game, then A to load, or B back to the GUI, with any game or global options hidden by the child lock.

Despite that the new interface is great (congratulations!!!!), I adhere to the request of making it childproof, the old interface was already familiar for my kids, they just select desired game, press A, than A again and thats it. An option in the config.txt enabling/disabling the new interface could be a nice solution for this. Thanks for your great job!!!!

cfg68a2-222.dol
lang68a2.zip
(or online update)
Changes:
cfg v68a2 (alpha)
* Skip game start confirmation when started from gui menu.
* When a game is selected and the wiimote is not pointing
to the screen move the pointer to the start button so
that pressing button A will start the game directly.
* Always start with cover view in game dialog
(previously it remembered the last state)
* Changed gui option:
gui = 0, 1, 2, [3], start
gui = 0 : GUI disabled
gui = 1 : GUI enabled but starts in console mode
gui = 2 : GUI enabled and starts in GUI mode
gui = 3 : GUI and GUI Menu enabled. Starts in GUI mode
gui = start : same as gui = 3
* Translatable GUI menu
This should solve some of the issues.
Theming will be possible hopefully soon.
What else is there?
