Last night while walking to my night class, I got no hits. This afternoon walking to my first class, however, I got 2 hits.

and UNFORTUNATELY had no Luck. FYI ToysRus here in California (and probably the whole States) are having a
buy one get one 1/2 off on 3DS games. Just so u know

I've had nothing yet. I live in a small village in England and have more chance of bumping into a unicorn than passing a fellow 3DS owner. Can't wait to go to Manchester this weekend, should get a few there.

I haven't gotten any hits yet, but I've only brought my 3DS to the grocery... So I really didn't expect anyone there.

I might head to the local game stores. At the least, I should get StreetPass with the demo units... right?

I guess this means if people on my island suck into the popularity like the Japanese did, I might actually get passes for my StreetPass.

None yet...I've only brought mine to the bowling alley...and drove around...nothing. I wonder if you can still get a streetpass while driving.?

I got two so far. One each on separate days traveling around campus. One of them belongs to a friend of mine so go figure. The other seems to be somebody I don't know and am curious as to who it is as I have not seen anyone else that has the 3DS at my school (most of the people have various models of the older DS systems). Nonetheless I was surprised to see I got somebody today.

Brought my freshly bought 3DS to school yesterday, and found 2 people. I'm pretty much sure they're in my class. And after that I went to a store to test a beamer, and found 2 people again. But it was only from the demo 3DS's so the names were completely random...

The only ones I get on StreetPass are my 2 friends which are the only ones who have it.
And when we get to a coloured shield in Quest, we say "make your Mii yellow!"

I might also add that I already dropped my 3DS once, and when I push the screen all the way to the back and wobble it up and down it makes a squeeky sound.
The sound is much less annoying when I just have the screen normal, so it's no biggie. Now I can annoy people with it! My 3DS is a weapon!

I've only at hits at the StreetPass meet. I travel through London on the packed Victoria line daily, and still haven't encountered anyone else yet

I never thought this could be fun, but now I see all these positive responses I think I too would really like this feature. It's simple but I would be very enthusiastic about it too.

The Blue indicates an unread/activated SpotPass message, Green is for StreetPass, Orange is when friends appear online

Nope, none yet. Only went out on Monday (Breakfast, shopping, and grocery store), and over a friend's house yesterday (Just within my neighborhood, but you never know...), so I wasn't expecting to get any.

We are not talking about the Notification LED, but about the Communication mode, which is displayed in the top left corner of the top screen in the Home Menu.

Edit: I just realized that the 3DS switches to StreetPass in standby mode. So even if someone is in his routers reach, as long as his 3DS is closed the 3DS will stay in StreetPass mode.

Since the release I have had 10 hits, one of them the same person twice, who I suspect works in the Game shop in the shopping centre.

Two hits resulted in Street Fighter connections.

Mine is in my bag on the way to work on the train which takes me in and out of London during the rush hour so I think the total hits is rather low. My guess is most people who bought them do not relise you have to enable the feature in some way per game. It will be a slow uptake but the hits should go up eventually.
