i killed myself for 3 days searching for this shit.
today after track practice i just lay down and sleep,
too tired to care about AP.
I'm just happy its out. i can wait now. those who've seen me here and
recognized me on /vp/ know i was impatient as shit

just get a ds2
no other flashcart can live up to its compatibility.
it has been almost 1 year for the ds2 and only 9 updates from the team and those are mostly for software bugs and instability not for compatibility (only a few were)

I was contemplating getting a DS2, but i hadnt thought that AKAIO would be broken. good shit nintendo.
btw im on R4i Ultra, using the one time AKAIO 1.81 made by Normatt for the R4 Ultra Team

I have found this on another forum. Would this work? I do not know how to use Nitro Explorer 2B, so I cannot try it myself.

This just changed the language and logo of the japanese to whatever you got the files from. Please note that this will workalmost the same as the translations of b/w made. So if one of the translated jap roms worked on your card then this will too. Enjoy!

P.S. since this shouldn't change the game id, cheats should work too.

P.S.S. I haven't tested this yet but it should work.

The whole "I haven't tried it, but it should work," thing is a bit of a turn off. You'd think they would try it beforehand. Either way, if I wanted to play a (J) ROM translated, I already would. Waiting for an AP fix isn't that difficult guys.

Oh. I was under the impression it was an anti-piracy fix, not a translation technique.

I figured I'd try this for shits and.... there isn't a file "16" at the path a>0>2. It's only goes up to file "9".

I would say this AP is similar to HG/SS's AP coding, but maybe I'm just rambling.

...Wait three days MAX, but venom will most likely kick something out by tomorrow.

It's not that bragging isn't allowed, it's just that the way some people do it in the other B&W threads is uncalled for.

"HERP-DERP I haz SCDS2 n u don't, LULZ u suck I can play it and you can't!"

This topic is about circumventing the AP for other flashcarts, and not about how great the SCDS2 is. Everyone knows it works on the SCDS2--no need to belabor the point, much less brag about it.

It contributes nothing to the discussion, and frankly, it's getting old.

as a side note, how does rudolph's patch work exactly ? - can't we just add the game ID to it and then it should be fine / then again i believe it isn't that easy.

^Man, I think I'm done with using the comp for today. too much noobs saying the exact same thing. "It works but no exp." If there's no exp then it doesnt work. read the damn first post and you will know the current issues. stop wasting people's time with this already known problem.
