I just received my m3i zero today and flashed it with the latest firmware and everything went fine.
The problem occurs when I insert it into my DS it does not recognize that there is a game cart inserted

I tryed putting paper down the back to provide a better contact but still no luck any other ideas?

Got the exactly same problem.

i just got a brand new M3i Zero today. I tried to flash it with M3i_Zero_FCORE_v1.6.1. The process was fine, light blinked 10-15 second and then stop. But when I insert M3i Zero into DSL, it won't boot. I got 2 white screens (top and bottom) after health warning screen.

I tried remove micro SD card, it still won't boot (shouldn't it say "NO SD card found"?). Later I tried to remove the system folder, it also wouldn't boot (shouldn't it say no system file found?).

My first micro SD card is Kingston 16GB class 4. I went try another card, Sandisk 8GB class 2. I still got the same white screens. It won't even try to load the card menu. I tried formatting the card with SDFormatter v2.0 (fat32 format) and flash firmware and put system folder on the root of card again, still got the white screens. I then tried using different FCORE, still no luck. It just won't boot.

I tried hold the "Start" button to get into DS menu. It showed that I had "Danny Phantom Urban Jungle THQ" in the ds slot. I clicked, then white screens again on both top and bottom.

Any suggestion? Both of my micro SD card work fine on M3 Real.

on the back of the M3i card where the contacts are do you see 2 gray bars that go down where the contacts are? you need to get a razor and cut those off and it should work.

try start over from the begining. format sd card, then on sd card put in NDS folder with any game in that folder, then put in System folder, and try put the new f_core file V1.7.2 and flash the M3i card. do you know anyone with a DSi or DSi XL try it on there system. when you power on DSi you should see Finding Nemo in the channel.

Nope, still 2 white screens on my DS Lite. And yes, I saw Finding Nemo when I hold start to access DS Lite menu. But when I pressed the start button or click on it, still gave me 2 white screens.

Also mine is DS lite, not DSi. Even though it works on DSi, it has nothing to do with me.

Yes, I set it up like that. I think may be the chip in GMP-Z003 cards just don't work with DS Lite at all. I'll try to get a new one from my seller one more time to see if it will work.

you got to have a friend with a DS lite or DSi so you can test your M3i chip on their DS system to see if it works. cause if it works on their DS system then somethings wrong with your DS lite. thats the only thing i can think of. i gave my niece a DS lite with a M3i Zero chip and it works fine. why dont you tell your seller to set it up for you and test it there.

I send my DS Lite to my seller to test my DS Lite with GMP-Z003. He tried to as many ways as possible and it still didn't work. He even changed the DS card slot to a new one and it still didn't work. But after he changed the my DS Lite main board, it worked. But the cost of changing main board is more expensive than buying 3 cards, so I decided to go with other card instead.

Just let everyone who has DS Lite know that if you bought your DS Lite long time ago, there's a highly chance that it will NOT work with GMP-Z003.

I am having the same problem. My son is a little pissed at me right now cause it is not working. I bought him one a while back and he lost it just bought another only to find I should have researched again. I have reflashed the cart, used different sd cards, did the paper, cut the plastic, can anyone help. Is my cart just bad or what could I be doing. My daughter has the old cart and I tried his in hers and it still doesn't work, just comes up to the screen saying there is not cards in it at all. Please help.
