I may charge for hacking a friends wii

Well a friends friend want to pay ME for hacking his wii!

What should I ask for it since he thinks I may have some money for doing it.

Ill install:

WiiFlow
cIOS
cIOS Corp
HBC
Wad manager
And some more!

Ghehe its not my idea to charge something for it. The friend tried himself but he does not understand all those terms!

Sooo any ideas on how many I should ask?

ORRR should I do it for free?

£200 pounds; go down from there and say your not going lower than £50.

Well then he is not a friend. Is Wii hacking hard? If not, charge him ~€50. If it is hard, €75 ~ €100

It's a tactic. The reason I said £200 so you could see how far he would go. You can start at a £100 and start dropping from there if you want.

You did tell your friend that it isn't a guaranteed hack, right? That's why I think you should do it for free. He may inadvertently update the unit, removing the hacks, and come to you again to get it set up again.

Be warned, if anything ever goes wrong, YOU are the one guilty for it. That's why I don't "hack" other people's wiis.

If he can't handle the initial hacking I doubt he'll be able to handle WADManager etc. or hack maintenance. Leave a readme file somewhere for him. Make sure to install HomebrewBrowser for him

And say, it almost never goes wrong, but if so. No warrenty. I'll do it for free.

Most of the time(always) you will get some free moneys anyways afterwards. eheh

Though I only do friends and families Wii's. I always got money for it so far, while I said I do it for free.

So.. give that a shot? (Allthough, I meet friends IRL.. lol)

Or, You can get the guy to provide is own SD card, and still charge the 30$ but i think 30$ is just, unless you can get more from the person haha

No its a guy and not my cup of tea and kinda to old. I already have a boyfriend!

He has a sd for his mobile. Screw it Ill buy one for his wii, because I am nice and I don´t want to watch out for his freaking files.(to lazy to backup it)
