Hi, i recently bought a Dsi xl, but my normal r4ds does not work. can anybody tell me a good r4 card for the dsi xl thats purchaseable on the internet

Well if you're looking for an R4, you should get an R4i. That said, I recommend the Acekard 2i or the Supercard DSTWO.

You have to update the Acekard (with the update found here) before you update the system, do NOT update the system first. That is mandatory otherwise the Acekard will not work and you will have to find someone with a DS Lite or a pre-1.4.1 DSi to update the Acekard for you.Caveproductionz said:

Yes, the Acekard 2i has multiple kinds of AP bypass built-in.
Make sure you buy a card that's already been updated for 1.4.1. The shop you buy from should state that they update/test all their cards before sending them out.
