Could you please implement a button we hold while booting to bypass wiinnertag update?
Sometimes i got no connection with internet and is bad to boot a game and get to wait for it to try to update and give an error to just now press A to boot.
Thanks.
+1 Please add a button for this oggzee, I hate it when I don't have a connection and it's trying to update my tag.

Just saw these changes on the usbloader-gx code site. Maybe they could be added to CFG as well if the changes are worth it.

*New ehcmodule for Hermes IOS versions. This gives a big boost in compatibility
to usb drives using Hermes cIOSes. Now many drives should work with it. Hermes
cIOSes have now probably the best compatibility to usb devices. (big thanks to
rodries here) (more to come

I recently went from running my backups from a wbfs partition to an ntfs partition on my hard drive. All the games are seen, but when I try to load it tells me that I need to install IOS245/246/247/248 or update IOS249. What would be the best way to fix this? I have the drive split as a fat32.ntfs drive with the fat partition being the first on the drive.

Sorry for a seemingly stupid question and thanks for any help.

Edit: Updated IOS249 and everything seems to be working ok with the loader, now mighty channels is broken. I guess I had to downgrade 249 when I was playing with mighty channels last week. Any way to get them to play nice together?

I just tried updating CFG from cfg64-compat to cfg65-compat and after rebooting booth systems could not find my USB Drives.

1 system is using a 500GB Western Digital My Book and the othe is using an 8GB USB Jump drive.

When I reverted back to cfg64-compat everything is fine.

Hi.

I have some troubles.
I updated my CFG to v65 release and this happen:

When i took a screenshot (i put "button_+ = screenshot" in config.txt) the Loader said he took it, but really not, there's nothing in the SD.

And...when i try to download all missing covers from internet the background song starts to sound really bad, i try with only 1 game and the loader says "download complete" but no, there's no cover in SD.
Same with v64

I go down to v62 and same with screenshots, with covers say "error 404...page not found"...and i tried to update wiitdb.zip but a Code Dump appeared (Exception DSI ocurred...).

what can I do?...i can play normally, but this is the problem.

Thanks in advanced.

I downloaded all the Wii covers from a site (outside of the USB Loader) then tried to copy them into the /covers/ directory as well as tried the 2d/3d/full etc directories and the covers aren't showing up at all within the program. Any thoughts?

@oggzee:

Maybe it better to add an external file with all these hashes, so you won't have to update CFG every time a new IOS comes out?
Could you also make the WDM/BCA/WIP directories configurable? (missing one?) Just like in Wiiflow?

It would be easier if you would just ask for help then ask your question instead of you waiting for someone to say "yes" to you.

Is there anyway to do it besides through the loader?
You can use the CfgLoaderConfigurator.exe that comes in the full package on the first page. There is a cover download in the wizards section of the app. Nice program from Dr. Clipper.

Some games do not work unless i manually change the setting to force NTSC.
is there a setting for this to be automatic?
I upgraded from version 58. v58 i didn't have to change any settings
