I just tried the 2.11 alternative patch and it booted up fine on WoodR4 1.23 but refused to run the normal (Non-alternative) version because it said it was corrupted.

Thanks so much for all your work! Now if only I can get it to work. lol

I've tried both patches (no AP fix and AP fix). With both, I can get through the character editing screens but that's it. As soon as I confirm my character the screens go black.

I am using an M3iZero with the latest Sakura.

Can those getting the black screen download this and try both of the test patches included. Apply one on a clean, untrimmed ROM first. Then apply the other on another clean, untrimmed ROM.

Please let me know if one or both or none of them work.

I followed your instruction and applied the patches to clean, untrimmed roms. Unfortunately, the same situation occurs with these patches.

I can create my character but confirming my selection causes the black screens.

M3iZero with latest Sakura.

Yay! The translation for this game is complete! Now I just need to find where I stuck my clean Saga 2 ROM...

Bleh, I remember when M3 was considered one of the best cards to get when I had gotten it. Now, nothing but problems it seems... =/

on the project page all I see is v2.11 and I can't get any of the files in there to do what the tutorial picture says to
I can't even get the patching tool to open

edit I don't have the xdelta.exe in that download so I guess thats why
does someone have version 2.0 they can link me to?

Why the font change, the old font looked niiiice? The new font is the standard boring stale font that used on every English game... I think I'll stick with the 1.11 patch, it looks much nicer, a bit squished but I can look past that, I don't care if it's 100% The old font gave it atmosphere :|

Wow, what an idiotic reason to not play a 100% translated game.

Anyway... thanks a lot for the release, everyone at Crimson Nocturnal, the game looks awesome.

It's the first time I ever heard about Saga. So how is this game? Better or worse than Tales of Innocence?

For M3 Real owners - get Gaboros WoodM3, it works using that. I tried both YSMenu and Touchpod, and no amount of configs worked.

Make sure to set WoodM3 to view "all" filetypes too, or you will get an annoying fragment warning.

Clean Rom + 2.1 Patch (Didnt try Alt) + WoodM3 = finally past dad window scene

It's a remake of Final Fantasy Legend 2 on the gameboy. So, turn based, lots of fighting, four different 'classes' of characters...

It's good if you like that sort of game. I intend to play it to death.

You ever play the old Game Boy game that was titled Final Fantasy Legend 2 in the US? This game is a remake of that game. It's original japanese name was SaGa 2. I haven't played Tales of Innocence so I can't give you a comparison there. This is a good game though. You have free customization of your party. Your stats grow based on what actions you take.

Awesome. Thanks for the tip. It worked for me.

I still got the fragmentation error even though I enabled "view all".... An easy fix, but I'd like to know how you managed to get passed it by doing that.
