Since fail0verflow cracked the ps3. I didn't understand it what it meant on the first page of GBAtemp, 'Players can now sign themselves'. What does that mean?

If we use this method of hacking, then can we play pirated games online?

This shit isn't for online game hacking. Just pretend it never even happened if you don't understand it, because it doesn't directly concern you. People will make shit for normal users like you when they get around to it, and you will know about it then.

No, it means running homebrew without the use of something like Ps3jailbreak, meaning on stock firmware.

Like emulators, or homebrew games.

They haven't got all the keys yet, so people shouldn't start believing it's completely broken open (like the Wii). They've only managed to break the chain of trust and obtain the private key.

EDIT: PS3 can still fry some bacon and eggs for my morning sandwich
