Gaming Unable to get anything to work

Nothing. Still goes black.
Okay I give up. I'm beyond frustrated. I've wasted like a whole day trying to get a stupid SNES emulator to work and fail every time. I must have got a very unlucky PSP. ISOs work, PSX games work, but emulators? GBC took forever as the GBA one to find that would load, NES is also as much of a lost cause as SNES is, although I can get it to load it freezes; cant use the d-pad. Ive done it all for SNES. EVERY different version/build/firmware specific emu I'm almost sure I've given a whirl. All I wanted to do was play Super Metroid on the go. Is that so much to ask for? It has to be some file somewhere thats not right. Snes9x Euphoria was the closest I got to work with the message saying "Last used Directory not available. Did you rename the directory?" and that's after manually copying the s9xTYL.ini into its folder. I'd love for any suggestions that any of you may want to give but I'm done looking myself.

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1

An FPGA could probably replicate the chip's functionality without buying donor parts.+1

Like not emulating the entire SNES but just a loader and the enhancement chips perhaps even slightly overclocked like FX-2
