Having trouble using wiiflow on a fat32 hdd. The wiiflow says it can't find the hard drive partition with games although configurable usb loader did. I have the whole drive as one fat 32 partition. And I'm sure I got the correct path for the files (usb:/wbfs/Game title [GAMEID]/GAMEID.wbfs).

Just modded a friends system following the guide from this forum so as far as I know it has this stuff on it.
"4] Install custom IOS 202[57], 222[38], 223[37] & 224[57] [Hermes v5], 249[56] & 250[37] [Waninkoko v20] to your wii."

I use wiiflow with a wbfs hard drive on my wii and I'd like to use wiiflow on this system too.

Also I tried both the 249 and the 222 versions.

Hi,

With the 2.2rc1 (304) release i can't seem to get Hawx2 to work, it just ends up in a black screen.

Tried ios 248/249/250 cios rev20b, base 57,58 and 37.
I't used to work with the 2.1 release with IOS248[56]v20 and still works with cfg-usb-loader.

Any suggestions?

Compile R304 with latest libogc!
Also helped Dent to make his game work!
Hawx2 is running fine for me with base 57 and R304 with latest libogc!

I found an issue with Metroid Other M PAL (update partition removed)

Using cios rev 20 base 56 with wiiflow rev 301, it works only if the wbfs file is not split in 2. With only one file it works perfectly (verified by playing the movie).
With two files, you get the Ridley freeze.
There is an issue with split files management.

I got the same issue with super smash bros brawl.

Therefore I switched to NTFS to be able to have big file

Sorry to ask this, but i asked it in the noob section twice with no response
i was thinking of switching from configurable to wiiflow but do i really have to choose between 250 and 222, like in configurable you change it in the boot options which ios to use
do you need like 3 different versions on your sd or what?

wiiflow comes in 5 flavours, 249, 250, 222,223 and 224
inside wiiflow you can choose what ios to use to load a game, if nothing is selected, the ios used by wiiflow is default

I am having issues loading coverart for my games in wiiflow. I go to the options and click download but it fails to load and at the end it says "dowloaded 0/1." Am I suppose to add anything to my .ini file in order for the coverarts to load.

Trying to get Wiiflow working (Error message: "Welcome to WiiFlow. I have not found any games. [Click install or select partition]"), and I have a few questions:

1. What format do the games need to be in? I've downloaded the WiiFlow Manager program and used it on an iso, which spit out a ~1gb wbfs file. Do I only need this file, or do I need both the wbfs and original iso?

2. Where do I put the game files? Do I need both the wbfs/iso in the same folder? Looking at WiiFloWiki, it says to put them in a wbfs directory. It still doesn't detect any games, though.

3. How do I get it to recognize my NTFS partition? On page 7 of settings, it only gives me WBFS0, WBFS1, WBFS2, etc. to WBFS9 as selectable partition types (I have no WBFS partitions on my drive).

If it helps, I'm using a WD Elements 1TB drive (with a 250GB partition for my Wii games), I'm on 4.0U, and have CIOS38r14 installed. I read about deactivating some "SmartWare" software that's on all WD drives, but it's not showing up when I search for it in Windows.

1. Only keep the .wbfs file. It is like the iso, but with garbage removed.
2. There is a complete list on Wiiflowiki. Wii Backup Manager will use the right format though
3. Open wiiflow.ini in wordpad, and under the General section, check for partition=. Make that partition=NTFS1

I haven't needed to add anything. Is it only for particular covers, or is that for all of your covers? Also, do you already have a front cover for that game? I have seen it do that, but only when I'm trying to download something that's not on the WiiTDB servers yet, i.e. if there's no full cover and I've got the front one already, or if the game is using a different ID than what it's looking for. I suppose it would also be a good thing to know, what version of WiiFlow are you using, what base, what version of cIOS, etc...

Aha! Games are showing up now. Many thanks!

QUOTE(icebrg5 @ Dec 11 2010, 07:40 AM) The reason your ntfs partition isnt showing up is because your using
CIOS38r14.Fat32 and ntfs support was not added until rev18 i believe.
Hm. I installed r18, and things seem to be somewhat in order. Is there any particularly recommended cIOS that I should be using?

I am running wiiflow from SD card, but it is getting full and I would like to move it with all the files and covers onto external USB drive.
External drive is WBFS single partition loaded with a lot of of games.
Is there any way to create additional FAT32 partition on this drive, without deleting all the games?
Is wiiflow having speed issues when running from external drive comparing to SD card?
Thank you!

yes there is, transfert your games from the wbfs drve to your computer. Then format it to FAT32 and transfert them back again.

Re-emphasizing this, but I also have another question.

If I want to load iso's, should I make a separate "iso" folder, or put them in my "wbfs" folder? Some of my iso's don't convert properly to wbfs, for whatever reason.

ciosx rev20b base 56 in 249, and base 57 in 250. It should allow you to run everything.

Iso files follow the same naming patterns as wbfs files, only the extension differs. Check here for the correct paths and filenames.

People had the "Disc_SetUSB failed"-error before and now a friend of mine is facing this error message. How did you solve this situation? Next time i speak to him i will help him to check if he has the latest cIOS X installed + Hermes and stuff, but maybe you can help us out anyway.
